Black is black
I want my baby back
It's gray, it's gray
Since she went away, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue
If I had my way
She'd be back today
But she don't intend
To see me again, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue
I can't choose
It's too much to lose
My love's too strong
Wow! Maybe if she
Would come back to me
Then it can't go wrong
Bad is bad
That I feel so sad
It's time, it's time
That I found peace of mind, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue
I can't choose
It's too much to lose
My love's too strong
Wow! Maybe if she
Would come back to me
Then it can't go wrong
Black is black
I want my baby back
It's gray, it's gray
Since she went away, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue

Its success was so overwhelming that advertisers eagerly jumped on board for this one-time-only *Odd Couple* reunion. -- Sally Jessy Raphael

Rod Stewart & Boy George BANNED by the BBC interview
@GizmoGuy21 -- I was a stagehand in the US. Worked the Rod Stewart show. After the show, we were breaking things down. The shop steward told us to stop what we were doing and line up in the hallway by the dressing room. Something like this had never happened before.
So, we were all standing there, wondering what was going on, and Rod Stewart came out of the dressing room. He shook the hand of every stagehand and personally thanked each of us for helping to put on the show. Got to his limo and turned around and gave us all a big wave and another "thanks!'
I worked a lot of shows, and he is the only celebrity who gave any recognition to the local crew. And the people who traveled with his show were mostly friends he knew before he was famous, they spent most of the show under the stage, drinking Guiness out of a can.
So, they got to tour the USA and got paid for it. Thank you, Rod Stewart for being a good human being.
When Olivia Newton-John was cast as Sandy in *Grease* (1978), the filmmakers had to adjust her character’s background to align with her own.
Originally, Sandy was portrayed as an all-American girl with the last name Dumbrowski. In the film, however, she became Sandy Olsson from Australia—a change that required a creative shift, much like altering a puzzle piece to fit better in the larger picture.
Before accepting the role, Newton-John asked for a screen test, feeling uncertain about her acting abilities and worried that she might appear too old to play a high school student. Director Randal Kleiser agreed, and they filmed the 'drive-in movie' scene as a trial run. Once she saw the footage, Newton-John felt reassured and moved forward with filming.
During the iconic “You’re the One That I Want” performance, Newton-John faced an unexpected challenge when her pants zipper broke. She recalled, “They sewed me into those pants every morning for a week.” It was a situation akin to being trapped in a too-tight corset; she had to be careful about what she ate and drank, finding the experience quite excruciating, especially in the sweltering heat of 106 degrees during the carnival finale.
Jim Casey, the show's creator, noted that the controversial ending—where Sandy conforms to the Greasers and alters her appearance to fit in with the T-Birds and the Pink Ladies—was meant to spoof the typical movie trope of the rebellious character redeeming themselves. Instead of the expected transformation of the bad boy into a good guy at the film’s conclusion, it was the good girl who turned rebellious.
Marie Osmond shared her thoughts with Larry King about turning down the role of Sandy. She expressed concern that she didn’t want her future teenagers to think, “You have to go bad to get the boy.” It was a personal choice as a mother-to-be. In a discussion with Fox News, Osmond elaborated, “The script I received was much edgier than what Olivia ended up with. At that time in my life, I wanted to have children, and I disliked that the girl had to become bad to win the guy. I believe the guy should work hard to earn the girl’s affection.”
In essence, Osmond’s perspective was that love should be a dance where both partners put in effort, rather than a one-sided sprint where one must compromise their values to keep up. (IMDb)

RARE Alice Cooper 1974 interview during Billion Dollar Babies Tour
This rare interview filmed by YLE, The Finnish Broadcasting Company for the Finnish TV Show "Iltatähti", was originally broadcast on April 13, 1974.
In celebration of this special release, we have uncovered an interview of Alice Cooper in the midst of the massively successful 1973-1974 Billion Dollar Babies tour. In the video, he is interviewed at the Hotel Hesperia in Helsinki, Finland, discussing his stage persona, rock music, violence, his audiences, and musical influences.
At the time, Alice was in Europe to promote the original band's upcoming film, “Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper”, which predominately featured live concert footage filmed at the 1973 Sam Houston Coliseum show.
Alice then headed to Brazil where the band became the first western band to perform there.
Alice Cooper on the Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder, 1981 full interview
Alice Cooper was discussing his performances and how they often sound bizarre to others. “When I read about the things people say you’ve done on stage, they seem bizarre to someone like me,” Tom said. “I sit here with a glass of water and talk to people, that’s the extent of what happens on this show.”
Alice chuckled, responding, “What I focus on is more of a ‘bazaar of the mind’ than a physical spectacle.” When asked about the strangest illusion or effect he’d ever done on stage, Alice paused. “That’s hard to say. A lot of it is imagined by the audience. It’s a surrealist approach—what they think they see is often more powerful than what actually happens.”
Tom brought up an old rumor, “Like when they said you killed a chicken on stage.”
Alice laughed, “Exactly. I didn’t actually kill the chicken, but 90 percent of what people think they know about me is wrapped in legend and rumors.”
