Why Can't Americans Afford Funerals?
We would like to express our gratitude to Caitlin for her enlightening insights into an often-overlooked aspect of our society. In many Western countries, the general populace remains largely uninformed about how to navigate the intricacies of handling death. Regrettably, it is during these most challenging times that families find themselves susceptible to exploitative practices, such as price gouging, frequently perpetrated by certain funeral homes—observations I have made as a florist. Caitlin's willingness to shed light on these issues is greatly appreciated.
The existing funeral services industry is structured in a way that discourages consumers from selecting funeral homes based on price, rendering the process needlessly complex and, at times, nearly impossible to navigate.
Given the opportunity, consumers would undoubtedly seek out alternative methods of selecting funeral services that align with their preferences.
It is not every day that one awakens with the aspiration to admire a mortician or funeral director as a hero. Yet, Caitlin stands as a testament to the unsung heroes who emerge in unexpected places. She has become the hero we never realized we needed, shining a much-needed light on an industry that often operates in the shadows.

Trump Hits DeSantis For Signing Heartbeat Law: A Terrible Thing And A Terrible Mistake
Former President Donald Trump criticized Republican governors who have signed pro-life laws — also known as “heartbeat laws” — that ban abortion after six weeks, calling the bill signed into law by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis “a terrible thing and a terrible mistake.”
September 15 was the International Day of Democracy and this year, the theme was “Empowering the next generation”.
According to the UN, this is intended to place focus "on young people’s essential role in advancing democracy and ensuring that their voices are included in the decisions that have a profound impact on their world."

The share of the world living in either an electoral or liberal democracy was at its highest in the year 2000 when the figure was at 54 percent.
This took a steep dive in 2019, dropping from 50 percent down to just 32.
While the fragility of democracy is also plain to see elsewhere in the chart, this is the most dramatic example over the assessed period.

What makes the spending stop? Looking at the 1970s again for a similarity, here is what was found:
One of the things that forced the government to end the social-spending and war-debt monetization of the 1970s was when corporate America’s capital actually went on strike. This eventually forced on the austerity concept of neo-Keynesianism as we couldn’t spend anymore. Capitalism went on strike. That is what happened.

The ROC on capital had shrunk too much while ROL Return on Labor had gotten too big. Efficiencies in production were ignored as everything was just price raised, added on, and passed through (wage-price spiral) until it could no longer continue due to Capital going on strike and just parking itself in 10% CDs domestically or going overseas.
That’s what stopped the wage-price spiral: Capital going on strike and govt credit running out... they couldn’t keep the Ponzi going, so they called in Volcker.
FDA Refuses To Change Anti-Ivermectin Statements After Court Ruling
Anti-ivermectin statements made by the FDA are not being changed, even after an appeals court ruled against the agency.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is refusing to change its statements against ivermectin, even after a court said it acted outside of its authority when it told people to stop using it to treat COVID-19.
The U.S. appeals court said that the FDA's statements, including one telling people to "stop" using ivermectin as a COVID-19 treatment, went beyond the authority conferred on the agency by Congress.
“FDA can inform, but it has identified no authority allowing it to recommend consumers ‘stop’ taking medicine,” U.S. Circuit Judge Don Willett wrote in the Sept. 1 ruling.
Two weeks later, FDA social media posts and a key webpage remain unchanged.

Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges on Thursday in a Delaware court related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs.
As attorney Mike Davis later explained this was just more coverup by Delaware US Attorney David Weiss to protect the Biden Crime Family and bury evidence of the family’s alleged multi-million-dollar bribery schemes.
Davis continued, “Weiss’s charges today continue his deceptive pattern–for years–of protecting Hunter. More troubling, Weiss is protecting President Biden. Indeed, where are Hunter’s charges related to foreign corruption, acting as an unregistered foreign agent, tax evasion, wire fraud, and other criminal charges that could implicate President Biden?”
Hunter Biden was charged with “one count of False Statement in Purchase of a Firearm, one count of False Statement Related to Information Required to be Kept by Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Person who is an Unlawful User of or Addicted to a Controlled Substance.”
Hunter Biden-linked Russian billionaires spared yet again by US sanctions
President Biden’s administration on Thursday sanctioned more Russian oligarchs — but continued to spare two billionaires who worked with first son Hunter Biden to find US property investments.
The omissions came two days after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) launched an impeachment inquiry into the president, accusing him of lying about his links to Hunter’s foreign dealings.
The Treasury Department said that it was “imposing nearly 100 sanctions on Russian elites and Russia’s industrial base, financial institutions, and technology suppliers as the United States continues to leverage sanctions and economic restrictions to undermine Russia’s capacity to wage its war against Ukraine.”
Oligarchs Yelena Baturina and Vladimir Yevtushenkov weren’t among the new targets — even though they have similarities to other newly sanctioned businesspeople.
Those include Russian billionaires Andrei Bokarev, president of Russian military equipment manufacturer Transmash, and Iskander Makhmudov, who owns financial services and mining companies.
Bokarev and Makhmudov previously were sanctioned by the UK, the Treasury Department noted — just like Hunter-linked Yevtushenkov.
Baturina, the former first lady of Moscow, assembled her $1.3 billion fortune through real estate and investments and dined with Hunter Biden and then-Vice President Joe Biden at least once at DC’s Café Milano. For reasons that remain unclear, she transferred $3.5 million in February 2014 to a firm controlled by Hunter and his associate Devon Archer.

The world economy could be on the brink of collapse once again as the US is barrelling towards another "devastating" financial crash.
The US federal deficit is expected to double to a huge £1.58trillion ($2trillion) this year alone, sending national debt skyrocketing to £26.4trillion ($33trillion).
It has triggered fears that Joe Biden's government will be forced to shut down if they are unable to pass a new budget or stopgap to stem the alarming financial flow.
This comes after the White House pleaded with Congress to accept a short-term funding extension to avoid such a disastrous government shutdown which would come into force in a matter of weeks.
The US is home to the world's largest economy, while the US dollar has been the world's principal reserve currency since the end of World War II and is the most widely used currency for international trade.
Burglar Foolishly Warns Armed Homeowner Youre Gonna Have to Kill Me
A burglar made a big mistake by challenging an armed homeowner to try and kill him during a home invasion.
The Georgia homeowner confronted the crook in the basement of his property on Thursday, Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb told WAGA-TV.
Before coming face-to-face with the unwelcome thug, the homeowner had called the police to report an intruder.
The home’s alarm system was also alerting the police about a break-in.
Babb says that the homeowner confronted the intruder in the basement and gave him a warning.
When the criminal refused to back down, the homeowner fired one gunshot and struck the intruder.
The homeowner then took up a position at the top of his staircase on the second story of the home while he waited for police to arrive.
Babb said that the suspect started going up the stairs to attack the homeowner.
The thug then yelled out the homeowner, warning him: “You’re gonna have to kill me.”
As the robber continued to approach, the homeowner was left with no choice but to shoot him a second time.

Fed-up New Yorkers blasted AOC regarding the migrant crisis as NYC continues to overflow with illegal border crossers.
As Slay News recently reported, NYC’s Democrat Mayor Eric Adams has even warned that the issue is “destroying the city.”
The Democrats were speaking outside of a hotel in Manhattan that has become a relief center for the migrants.
However, AOC and others were shouted down by protesters chanting, “Send them back!” and “Close the border.”

Meeting Net Zero Goals Will Cost Taxpayers $75 Trillion, Analysis Shows
In order to comply with the globalist “Net Zero” climate goals of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and United Nations (UN), taxpayers will need to spend a staggering $75 trillion, a group of leading analysts has revealed.
To put the figure into context, in 2023, it is estimated that the total amount of money in circulation around the world is roughly $40 trillion.
Nevertheless, the public will have to dig even deeper to cover the demands of the global elite to achieve aggressive international “climate change” goals.
The impossible “Net Zero” goals for “carbon emissions” set forth by the United Nations (UN) Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) are expected to be met by 2050.
However, according to a new report from energy consultancy and research firm Wood Mackenzie, investments would need to total $75 trillion to meet the targets.
Ukraine Has Already Lost Half A Million Soldiers In Its War With Russia
Retired Ukrainian Major General Sergey Krivonos slammed Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview for presenting inexplicably optimistic reports on the situation at the front. In his words, Zelensky presents the situation “optimistically” even though the expert consensus, except among the most extremist corners in Ukraine and the West, is that the much-lauded counteroffensive has been a catastrophic failure. The failure of the counteroffensive, which has contributed to half a million Ukrainian deaths, will inevitably lead to an eventual diminishing of Western support for Ukraine as financing the war will be a major topic in next year’s US presidential election runup.
“The president speaks optimistically, but I don’t know who writes these texts for him. At certain times, I get worried,” said the retired general.
According to Krivonos, Zelensky speaks about what is happening at the front by using a tone as if Ukrainian forces have practically won. He added that Zelensky should not count on a process of demoralization among Russian troops and warned that the Russian Army is experienced and well-trained.
The revelation by Krivonos comes after it was recently announced that Ukraine had already lost around half a million troops since the start of the Russian special military operation in February 2022.
According to the advisor to the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DRP), Yan Gagin, the numbers were projected through intelligence, open data, and sources.
Bidenomics is lipstick on a pig
Predictably, Joe Biden, along with his advisers, economists, and media mouthpieces, has been embracing what was supposed to be a negative phrase — Bidenomics — and spinning it as something good. But no matter how you try to spin it, portraying Bidenomics as a positive economic force is the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig.
Mark Twain once said (with attribution elsewhere): “There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.” You can pull up all kinds of charts, graphs, and other amalgamations of numbers to try to prove almost any point you want, but that doesn’t replace reality.
You don’t need charts, graphs, economists, or anything else to see what is going on.
Biden is trying to brand Trump’s presidency as MAGAnomics, saying Trump’s fiscal policy was inferior to his own. If we take out the COVID-19 debacle that was so poorly handled but certainly an exceptional situation to be normalized for, and we ask people if they were better off in 2019 or 2023, what do you think the answer would be?
Never mind the administration’s talking points about job “reclamation” or “creation”; when did people have more fear of losing their jobs — today or 2019?
Looking at personal savings, when did Americans have more in their bank accounts? Notably, the personal savings rate was in the high 8% to mid-9% range in 2019. As of July 2023, it was just 3.5%.
When did Americans have more crushing debt loads, today or 2019? Well, we know the answer to that is today, with credit card debt alone exceeding $1 trillion.
Hunter Biden was indicted on three felony gun charges on Thursday. The development, a far cry from the prior sweetheart plea deal, drew scrutiny and raised more questions than answers.
Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, for instance, called the indictment a "fig leaf" and urged Americans not to "fall for it."
"Don't fall for it," Ramaswamy said. "This is a fig leaf designed to deflect attention away from the real problem: the Biden family is selling out U.S. foreign policy for their own family’s private financial gain. That's really what’s wrong, and we must hold politicians in both major political parties when they use our foreign policy to enrich their family members."

Poll: Nearly 80% of Ukrainians Hold Zelensky Responsible for Corruption
The vast majority of Ukrainians – 78 percent – say President Volodymyr Zelensky is directly responsible for corruption in the government and military, a poll published on Monday found.
The survey, conducted in July by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation and the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, also found that Ukrainians ranked corruption within their own government as a bigger threat to “Ukrainian entrepreneurship” than the ongoing Russian invasion, according to the Kyiv Independent.
The poll was taken after months of investigations, which followed months of firings at the highest levels of governments. Zelensky announced measures to fight bribery and other corrupt activity in his administration in January, firing five governors and four deputy ministers. Those firings came after the ouster of top infrastructure official Vasyl Lozinskyi on suspicions of embezzlement.
Since the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation poll was taken in July, Zelensky has fired every regional recruitment center head for taking bribes from men attempting to avoid the war and has replaced the nation’s defense minister, Oleksii Reznikov.
Reznikov does not face any criminal charges or accusations of direct involvement in corruption at press time, but rumors of corruption preceded his “resignation.”

CNN Legal Analyst Admits Trump Has Good Reason to Request Judges Recusal
Elie Honig, a legal analyst for CNN, acknowledged that there may be some merit to Former President Donald Trump’s motion asking that Federal District Judge Tanya Chutkan recuse herself from his case.
Speaking on CNN This Morning, Honig acknowledged that Trump’s request is an “extreme longshot” legally but added that, given Judge Chutkan’s prior comments, it’s “not an outrageous motion.”
The motion for recusal was brought about by remarks made by Judge Chutkan during the sentencing of those convicted of being part of the Capitol attack on January 6. Trump’s legal team claims that these comments show a possible bias against the former president.
Judge Chutkan is quoted in the motion as saying, “The people who exhorted you and encouraged you and rallied you to go and take action and to fight have not been charged,” in reference to a defendant in the Capitol riot case.
CNN host Poppy Harlow asked: “Trump’s lawyers argue statements like those, and others mean she should not be able to hear this case against Trump. They add ‘only if this trial is administered by a judge who appears entirely impartial could the public ever accept the outcome as justice.’ I know recusals don’t happen often in situations like this. There are other statements that are interesting that she’s made. Things like when she said last year, “It’s a blind loyalty to one person who, by the way, remains free to this day.” They, talking about, you would think Trump. What do you think?”

In anticipation of significant developments in our era, there has been a noticeable increase in fraudulent individuals attempting to deceive others. Alongside this, we are witnessing a rise in global conflicts, with nations in opposition, kingdoms at odds, and the looming threats of food shortages, diseases, and seismic events.
Furthermore, there is a growing presence of challenges within Christian communities, including a falling away from faith, the emergence of false prophets, and a surge in lawlessness, which is causing a decline in the moral compass of many. To illustrate these events, a parallel can be drawn to the analogy of childbirth, where the intensity and frequency of pains increase as labor progresses. As we approach significant global transitions, the indicators of these changes will become more frequent and pronounced.
Indeed, these signs are increasingly evident worldwide. For instance, recent seismic activity, as exemplified in Psalm 18:7, has caused the Earth to shake and the foundations of hills to tremble.
In breaking news, Hawaii's Kilauea volcano has erupted for the third time this year. Geologists note that the eruption is focused on the summit crater. While authorities currently believe there is no immediate danger, the alert level has been raised to Red, signifying the highest level of alert for potential hazards. Kilauea, after months of dormancy, has reawakened, with scientists observing a significant increase in seismic activity and ground swelling just before the eruption.
This eruption has shown a more rapid onset compared to previous ones. Additionally, noteworthy is the emergence of fissures to the east of recent lava lake activity, occurring within the Down drop Block in Kilauea's summit caldera. New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham declared gun violence a "public health emergency" in response to recent deadly shootings in Albuquerque.
While the anti-gun lobby and their allies in the corporate media have long championed the idea that gun violence constitutes a public health emergency, this is the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic that public health has been used as a guise to limit law-abiding citizens Second Amendment rights unconstitutionally.
While the public health order may stop law-abiding citizens from carrying firearms to defend themselves in Albuquerque, it certainly will not deter criminals, who often do not have permits to carry firearms, whether open or concealed in the first place.
In fact, concealed carry permit holders are some of the country's most "law-abiding" citizens. For example, those who hold concealed carry permits in Texas are 14 times less likely to commit a crime than an average person.
So why would Gov. Grisham issue a tyrannical order like this? Well, it's simple. Because this is a trial run for something much larger.
Since the landmark decision in NYSRPA v. Bruen, which affirmed that the Second Amendment extends outside the home, anti-gun politicians nationwide have had to resort to drastic measures to Americans' right to a firearm.
Using emergency orders to suspend constitutional rights in response to a tragedy is backward thinking at its finest. It leaves law-abiding citizens more vulnerable to the criminals who committed those violent acts in the first place.
These unconstitutional actions taken by Governor Grisham are unacceptable and will undoubtedly cause more violence and harm to the public.

Soros-Aligned Texas DA Sidesteps Removal Trial By Resigning, Announces Senate Run

A George Soros-aligned Texas district attorney who faced removal from office for failing to prosecute cases, including high-profile cases of murder and rape, has resigned. Nueces County District Attorney Mark Gonzalez, a Democrat, announced his resignation in a Sept. 5 letter to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, who will name his replacement.
At the same time, Mr. Gonzalez announced a run for U.S. Senate to unseat Republican Senator Ted Cruz, according to local media. Mr. Gonzalez sidestepped a civil lawsuit scheduled in December to remove him from office for "incompetence and official misconduct under the guise of prosecutorial discretion" and failure to give bond.
The lawsuit claimed Mr. Gonzalez "nullified" the law, abused his authority, and violated his oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitutions and laws of the United States and Texas. The complaint was initially filed in January by Citizens Defending Freedom state director Colby Wiltse, a resident of Nueces County. County attorney Jenny Dorsey endorsed the filing in February, allowing it to move forward.
"This is a great day for justice in Nueces County," Mr. Wiltse said in a statement after Mr. Gonzalez made his announcement.
"Mark Gonzalez, like many of the Soros-aligned District Attorneys across the country, redefined the role of the district attorney in the name of social justice, often at the cost of public safety in the communities they swear an oath to protect."
In his resignation letter, Mr. Gonzalez criticized "MAGA-aligned political radicals" working to oust him—an apparent harbinger of his Senate run.

Gov. Noem: Trump has my ‘full and complete’ endorsement for 2024.
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) on Friday took to the stage during a rally to endorse President Trump’s 2024 reelection bid.
“Tonight, Mr. President, my message is clear, it is an honor to have you with us here in South Dakota,” Noem said during the Monumental Leaders rally in Rapid City, S.D., adding, “You’ve made America Great Again once, let’s do it again.”
“He is the leader, the father that our country needs. He has my full and complete endorsement for president of the United States of America,” she continued. “I will do everything I can to help him win and save this country.”
Noem then introduced Trump, who is headlining the rally. While having a brief exchange, a graphic quickly appeared on the screen reading “Trump Noem 2024.”
“Kristi is a warrior for American values,” the former president said, thanking Noem for her endorsement and complimenting her on her policies in the state.
“Some don’t mean anything. Hers means a lot.”
The endorsement was expected, as multiple reports surfaced on Friday that teased her plans. Noem has also been floated as a potential running mate for Trump, still the clear GOP frontrunner in the face.
Asked on Thursday if she would consider a VP run, the South Dakota governor said she “absolutely” would.

Urgent warning to Apple users as spyware infiltrates devices with zero clicks
Apple users are being urged to update their products immediately to protect against a powerful new spyware that infiltrated devices without any clicks.
The tech company released updates to patch two zero-day exploit chains on Thursday.
It comes after an employee of the Washington DC-based civil society organization Citizen Lab found the zero-click vulnerability delivering Pegasus mercenary spyware, according to John Scott-Railton, a researcher for the group.

ATF Agents Carrying Rifles Raid Oklahoma Gun Dealer's Home, Confiscate Guns
As agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) left Russell Fincher’s house with 50 legally-owned firearms and his freshly relinquished Federal Firearms License (FFL), they offered him a tip.
“They said, ‘Tell all your FFL friends we’re coming for them next,’” Mr. Fincher told The Epoch Times.

FDA Refuses to Provide COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Data To US Senator
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) asked the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the results of analyses on data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System in January.
The request came after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said none of the safety signals it identified for the COVID-19 vaccines were "unexpected."
The two agencies have run different types of analyses on the system's reports, which are primarily made by health care professionals.
The CDC ran Proportional Reporting Ratio analyses, which involve comparing the number of reported adverse events to the number of adverse events reported after vaccination with other vaccines.
The first time the agency ran analyses using the method for the COVID-19 vaccines, in 2022, hundreds of signals were triggered, files obtained by The Epoch Times show.
The FDA in 2021 started a different type of analysis, called Empirical Bayesian (EB) data mining.
The Proportional Reporting Ratio results “were generally consistent with EB data mining, revealing no additional unexpected safety signals," Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC's director at the time, told Mr. Johnson previously.
Mr. Johnson demanded answers on that claim, prompting the CDC to point him to the FDA.
Former Navy officers Fat Leonard convictions vacated
Four former Navy officers who were convicted of felonies in one of the military branch’s biggest bribery scandals had their convictions vacated Wednesday.
Following allegations of prosecutorial misconduct, former Capts. David Newland, James Dolan and David Lausman and former Cmdr. Mario Herrera were allowed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor and pay a $100 fine each, a decision made by U.S. District Judge Janis Sammartino at a sentencing hearing in federal court in San Diego, The Associated Press reported.
A federal jury previously convicted the officers on various counts of accepting bribes from Leonard Francis, a Malaysian former military contractor also known as “Fat Leonard,” and his company, Glenn Defense Marine Asia (GDMA).
The four former officers had served in the Navy’s 7th Fleet in the Eastern Pacific, where investigators say Francis and GDMA bribed dozens of officers with alcohol, sex and parties, allowing him to overcharge for supplying ships to the Navy or rack up bills for fake services at Southeast Asian ports he controlled.

CNN anchor Dana Bash declared Thursday that it's impossible "to spin" the network's latest poll showing a dismal outlook for President Joe Biden.
The poll found that Biden's job approval is just 39%, the lowest rating since the height of the inflation crisis last year. Even worse, the survey found that in a hypothetical rematch for the White House between Biden and Donald Trump, Trump would win: 47% to 46%.
But the knockout blow, the poll found, is that two-thirds (67%) of Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters want the Democratic Party to nominate someone other than Biden in 2024.
Importantly, the poll indicates the majority of Democratic voters (82%) don't have another particular candidate in mind — they just want someone, anyone other than Biden. “Critical Race Theory” has the advantage of being incomprehensible to those who haven’t been briefed.

Theoretically, you could become a professor of ethnic studies without being the ethnicity you study, just as you can be a gerontologist without being old or a botanist without being a plant.
Still, and while I don’t often offer career advice, trust me on this: Don’t try it.
The pervasiveness of ethnic discrimination in college hiring is one reason for the amusing pattern that has emerged in recent years: The highest proportion of whites caught pretending to be some other more legally privileged race or ethnicity have tended to be academics, especially woke ethnic studies professors.
A classic example is Andrea “Andy” Smith, the chair of the UC Riverside ethnic studies department, whom supporters, such as her dissertation adviser Angela Davis, laud as “one of the greatest Indigenous feminist intellectuals of our time.”

Two showings of the summer’s sleeper hit “Sound of Freedom” were planned and then canceled by the US Southern Command.
According to the Military Times, critics of the anti-child sex trafficking film have questioned whether SOUTHCOM’s leadership is following a policy that requires troops to remain apolitical at work.
The outlet pointed to the words of human trafficking and exploitation consultant Sunnetta “Sunny” Slaughter, who asked, “What is the idea and the ideology behind putting this on a military installation? Is this some form of indoctrination into an ideology of extremism?” while accusing the film’s star Jim Caviezel of using having ties to Qanon.
The free screenings of the film, which has grossed over $200 million, had been planned for Aug. 28 and Oct. 19. A flyer obtained by the outlet from Joanne B. In March of 2021 30-year-old Brian Moore was waiting to board a plane from Atlanta to Los Angeles. The man had $8,500 in his possession, money he received from the sale of his late grandfather’s car. He hoped to start a music career, using all the money he had in the world.
That’s when his fate took a sour turn… care of the federal government.
Several plainclothes DEA officers took Moore away from his gate. They questioned him behind closed doors, seemingly suggesting he was up to no good. After pressing him repeatedly, he allowed them to search his belongings. The officers took all of Moore’s money, leaving him penniless. He returned home and discovered a convenient law that allows federal officers to seize a person’s property, without a warrant or accusing them of a crime. After spending a year pursuing justice, the case resolved in his favor. But he still lost big.

Moore had never heard of civil asset forfeiture, which allows the government to seize and keep property it suspects is connected to criminal activity, until he found himself knee-deep in a complex, yearslong legal battle against the Justice Department.
But even after he won and got his property back, a federal court rejected his request for the government to repay him $15,000 in legal fees…
Now owing nearly twice the amount of his original seized property, Moore got in touch with the Institute for Justice, which is appealing to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the unpaid legal fees.
Moore had done nothing wrong. The DEA did not even accuse him of a crime or serve him with a warrant. But they did confiscate all the money he owed. And even after he won his case, and a judge ordered the DEA to pay back his $8,500–he still owed $15,000 in legal fees.
Georgia’s Fulton County has come under the national spotlight once again after District Attorney Fani Willis brought racketeering charges against President Trump, Rudy Giulliani, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis and others. Republican Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr has indicted dozens of people on racketeering charges over years of riots and protests in opposition to the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, which is under construction.

Texas Law Goes into Effect Requiring Drunk Drivers Who Kill a Parent to Pay Child Support
A Texas law requires drunk drivers to pay child support if they cause the death of a parent. The commonsense measure took effect on Friday after being signed by Lone Star State Gov. Greg Abbott earlier this year in June.
"Any time a parent passes is tragic, but a death at the hands of a drunk driver is especially heinous," Abbott tweeted in July. "I was proud to sign HB 393 into law this year to require offenders to pay child support for the children of their victims."
The payments will be required of individuals convicted of intoxication manslaughter involving the death of a child's parent or guardian. The court will consider various factors when deciding the amount of the monthly payments, and the payments will be required until the child turns 18 or graduates from high school, whichever occurs later.
In the event that the guilty party cannot make the payments while incarcerated, he or she will be required to start shelling out the money no later than the first anniversary of the date of release.

Australia Begins Debanking Citizens Who Post Non-Mainstream Opinions Online
If an NAB customer says something that goes against the mainstream narrative, the bank will take away his or her bank account as punishment.
According to a disturbing report by The Counter Signal, the NAB updated its terms and conditions in such a way as to turn its relationship with customers into something “that resembles that of a schoolteacher or grade school student.”
Naturalnews.com reports: Any NAB customer caught “making profane, derogatory, discriminatory or harassing comments to any person,” or who inflicts “psychological harm” on someone else, will face the ire of one of Australia’s largest banks, which is also one of the “big four” alongside the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (which was owned by the Australian government until 1996), and the Westpac Banking Corporation.
“The entire Commonwealth is compromised,” tweeted the X (formerly known as Twitter) account of Lion Advocacy’s Daniel Ari Freiheit, MBA, LLB.
“Look into dual citizenship & consider moving your savings to countries that respect property & speech.”

In its terms and conditions update, the NAB spelled out what will happen to any customer who is caught uttering threatening or abusive language, as defined by the bank.
“We may reasonably exercise one or more of our rights in these terms and conditions to suspend, cancel or deny an account holder’s access or use of the account, card or an electronic banking service if we reasonably consider it appropriate to protect a customer or another person from financial abuse,” the update states.
The changes could spark a boycott, which is exactly what happened to Scotiabank after it informed military veteran Jeremy MacKenzie that his account was being closed because he was deemed to have exceeded the bank’s “risk appetite.”
“What part of it is too risky for the bank – is that my military pension?” MacKenzie asked the Scotiabank representative who informed him that his account was being shuttered.
“I’m afraid I don’t have any more detail,” the representative responded. “I’m just the messenger.”
That sure sounds a whole lot like World War II era just following orders, does it not?
Not only is MacKenzie no longer to bank with Scotiabank, but he is also barred from ever again visiting a branch of the bank without permission.
It turns out that MacKenzie publicly criticized the regime of Justin Trudeau, including the corrupt RCMP which persecuted him and others for participating in the Freedom Convoy of Ottawa.

It is one thing for Australia and Canada to be engaging in this kind of debanking “censorship,” seeing as how neither of those two countries have a constitution like that of the U.S. But there is no excuse for JPMorgan Chase being allowed to persecute an American citizen while operating on U.S. soil.

A Male Prisoner Who Murdered A Baby Wants A Vagina. The ACLU Wants Taxpayers To Pay For It.
Unmentioned in the ACLU’s lawsuit demanding that taxpayers foot the bill for a prison inmate’s gender transition surgery is that its plaintiff — a man named Jonathan Richardson who now goes by Autumn Cordellioné — is behind bars for murdering an 11-month-old baby.
On Monday, the ACLU’s Indiana branch filed a federal lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana on behalf of Richardson, demanding he be allowed to get transgender genital surgery while imprisoned.
The lawsuit gives almost no biographical information about Richardson, aside from that he is an “adult transgender female prisoner confined in a male institution within the Indiana Department of Correction.”
The 41-year-old Richardson was convicted of murdering his 11-month-old stepdaughter in Evansville, Indiana, in 2001, according to Indiana Department of Correction records.
The baby’s autopsy showed she had been manually strangled to death while her mother was at work, according to court documents from Richardson’s appeal. He told detectives that he also shook the child “in a rough manner,” the appeal documents said.
Facebook deletes thousands of accounts, citing Chinese troll army covert operation
Facebook’s parent company Meta has deleted thousands of accounts with suspected links to the Chinese government, describing them as “the largest known cross-platform covert influence operation in the world.”
The Chinese Communist Party had targeted more than 50 apps, including Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, TikTok and Reddit, the company said in an Aug. 29 blog post.
“We were able to tie this activity together to confirm it was part of one operation known in the security community as Spamouflage and link it to individuals associated with Chinese law enforcement,” it said, citing similar threats originating out of Russia.
China has been stepping up its efforts to influence and manipulate news and information worldwide, and has used an array of tools to project a positive image of itself abroad, the U.S.-based watchdog Freedom House reported in September 2022.

No government entity should be allowed to keep hidden its actions related to a child while barring parents from being involved. Public school officials across the country keep trying to steal parents’ rights away from them and do whatever they want with school children.
One mother had enough of this parental exclusion and challenged a school district that wanted her to stay out of her daughter’s world at school. District officials were in for a rude awakening after this mother fought back.

Jessica Konen said her 11-year-old daughter, Alicia, was told by her school in the Spreckels Union School District in Monterey County (California) that she may be upset because she didn’t know who she “truly was inside.” From there, the school allowed her to use the boy’s bathroom, used male pronouns to refer to her and was “socially transitioned” away from her biological gender.
This mom was having none of this progressive recalibration. Jessica Konen sued the district when she found out that her daughter was being identified as a male and socially transitioning without her knowledge. And she won. The district settled the case for $100,000 and Alicia has decided to re-identify as a girl.
