Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), chats with Google's founder Sergey Brin. Schwab describes how data analytics will be able to predict the outcome of elections so well that tech companies like Google will evolve into offering "prescriptive" outcomes and will determine who our future leaders will be. So, the future will no longer need elections. However, Google's Insight Labs think tank has produced a video ("The Selfish Ledger") that demonstrates how Google can determine the thinking and thoughts of people and their offspring as well. So, how manipulated is our mainstream thinking right now, and how much more powerful will global tech companies become regarding their ability to impact our thoughts, and even our acceptance of "prescriptive" decision from tech companies.
Of course, censorship of the Internet will be necessary to eliminate other ideas that don't fit the elite's global narratives.

Japanese and local astronomers said a Chinese satellite has been

Comments -
-If these lasers are starting fires, I would also look into the rash of factory and plant fires we've had in the US.
-A few months after 'Chinese lazers' over Hawaii, Hawaii burns. A few months after 'Chinese spy balloon' flies over western Canada, western Canada burns. I'm sure its just an uncanny coincidence. (cough)

BBC hits households with more than 36 million TV licence fee warnings
The stats, reported by the Telegraph, show the BBC issued 36,166,582 letters between 2022 and 2023, up just over one percent on the 35,695,538 sent between 2021 and 2022.
This marks a much larger six percent increase on the 34 million letters reportedly sent between 2020 and 2021.
The funds generated by the TV licence fee support the creation of BBC programmes and services and those who watch TV live - as well as those who stream BBC iPlayer - must pay the annual cost of £159. For black and white TV, the cost is £53.50.
Any households that evade the payment face an enforcement letter from TV Licencing to warn households to pay if they require one or face a penalty.
FBI scrambling to track migrants who entered US with help of ISIS-linked smuggler
The FBI is reportedly scrambling to find more than a dozen Uzbek nationals who sought asylum in the US earlier this year after intelligence officers discovered they traveled to the southern border with the help of a smuggler who has ties to ISIS.
Officials are working to “identify and assess” all of the individuals who gained entry into the country, National Security Council spokesman Adrienne Watson told CNN.
They are also scrutinizing a number of migrants as possible criminal threats; two unnamed federal officials told the news network. But authorities say no specific ISIS plot has been identified.
“There was no indication — and remains no indication — that any of the individuals facilitated by this network have a connection to a foreign terrorist organization, or are engaged in plotting a terrorist attack in the United States,” Watson stressed.

On March 4, a Union Pacific train in Ogden, Utah released magnesium chloride. On March 8, a CSX train spilled diesel fuel into a West Virginia River. On March 30, a BNSF train crashed and burst into flames, igniting ethanol and forcing midnight evacuations in Minnesota. On June 26, molten asphalt spilled into the Yellowstone River in Montana after a bridge collapsed. And in a four-day span in July, freight trains in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Montana, and Wisconsin, all with hazardous materials on board, derailed.
These were just a few of the 59 freight train derailments in the six months following the East Palestine disaster that were significant enough to be reported in local or national news, according to data compiled by Motherboard. Fifteen of those derailments involved cars with hazardous materials. By contrast, there were 33 freight train derailments reported in local and national media in the six months prior to East Palestine, which thrust freight rail safety issues into the national spotlight.
(Part of this difference is probably attributable to the attention the East Palestine disaster got, making outlets more likely to cover derailments.) Motherboard did not include passenger rail derailments or derailments caused by extreme weather or vehicles on the tracks in the data.
Massachusetts Elementary Schools Ban Talk of Weapons, Shooting Gestures
Elementary-school students in Somerset, Mass., will face new rules around discussing and gesturing weapons when they return to class next week.
“So there have been several cases where kids on the bus are making gestures and we didn’t have anything in there to discipline them,” Chace Street Elementary School principal Timothy Plante told the school committee.
Now, students will be prohibited from gesturing the use of weapons and from talking about guns or knives on school grounds, WBZ-TV reported. It was not immediately clear what the punishment would be for students who violate the new rules.
Plante said staff at all three of the town’s elementary school requested the new rules in an effort to curb school violence.

Biden PAC Exposed in Shock Report You Wont Believe How Much Just Went Missing
A political action committee is a group that mostly raises cash for political campaigns. Politicians often rely on these groups to keep their candidacies alive. Millions and millions of dollars flow through these PACs since they are rarely limited by the same financial restrictions that are placed on campaigns.
As you can imagine, Democrats love PACs.
One particular group has been helping to bankroll Joe Biden’s campaign. Future Forward USA Action has been raising millions to keep leftist puppet Joe in office. According to recent filings, the group deposited millions of dollars into its related PAC Future Forward. Except, millions have gone missing. And someone might be in big trouble.
From The Epoch Times:
Nearly $12 million is missing in financial disclosures for a super political action committee for President Joe Biden, prompting calls for an investigation.
Future Forward said that it received $3.4 million from its associated nonprofit, Future Forward USA Action. But Future Forward USA Action said in tax documents that it passed $15.3 million to Future Forward.

Court decides 1st Amendment protects joke about 'zombie apocalypse'
A federal appeals court affirmed Friday that a Facebook joke, which compared COVID-19 to a zombie apocalypse, that led to a man’s arrest as a terrorist, is protected speech under the First Amendment, reversing a lower court’s decision.
Waylon Bailey, a resident of Rapides Parish in central Louisiana, made a Facebook post on March 20, 2020, that jokingly compared COVID-19 to a zombie apocalypse, referencing the movie World War Z — police officers later showed up at Bailey’s house and arrested him for “terrorizing,” according to court documents. When Bailey sued, the district court dismissed his claims that the police department violated his First and Fourth amendment rights, a decision the Fifth Circuit reversed on Friday.
BREAKING: CDC admits COVID infection could be more likely among vaccinated individuals
An update from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows the federal health agency has admitted that a new omicron BA.2.86 sub lineage variant could be more capable of infecting vaccinated than unvaccinated individuals.
CDC admits it.
An August 23 update by the CDC states that the variant BA.2.86, dubbed “Pirola”, may be causing increased infections among those who have received the COVID vaccine.
“BA.2.86 may be more capable of causing infection in people who have previously had COVID-19 or who have received COVID-19 vaccines,” the CDC’s risk assessment update reads.
“Scientists are evaluating the effectiveness of the forthcoming, updated COVID-19 vaccine.”
The CDC further stated that they believe yet another booster shot, to be released sometime in the fall, will be effective at reducing severe disease and hospitalization.
The CDC has been at the forefront of providing guidance on COVID-19 prevention and control measures. They have developed and updated guidelines for various aspects of the pandemic, including mask-wearing, social distancing, testing, and vaccination.
Last year, the CDC dropped special quarantine recommendations for unvaccinated persons, finally admitting that natural immunity should be considered and that vaccines don’t stop infection.

Biden EV agenda has U.S. turning to rogue region using children in unsafe mines
In order to facilitate electric vehicle (EV) production, the U.S. is seeking to spend taxpayer dollars to develop cobalt supply chains from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), a country which is known for high prevalence of unsafe child labor in its mines, many of which are controlled by Chinese interests, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Department of Labor (DOL) are jointly committing $23 million in taxpayer funds to U.S. firms and other mining companies to integrate local Congolese operations and “artisanal” mines into their supply chains, as well as to improve labor standards for miners in the DRC, which are essentially non-existent in most cases, according to the WSJ.
Chinese-controlled interests dominate the DRC’s cobalt industry, refining about 75% of the global cobalt supply and manufacturing approximately 70% of the world’s lithium-ion batteries, which are cobalt-intensive products that power EVs.

Maui's top emergency officials were on another island when the wildfires begun, it emerged on Wednesday - and did not join a call about the response until five hours after the blazes broke out.
Dozens of senior bureaucrats were gathering on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, on August 8 for the annual meeting of FEMA coordinators in the Pacific region.
The first fire on Maui, the Upcounty Fire, broke out in the early hours of August 8.
Around 6:40am on that day, a school near Lahaina was evacuated, but an emergency response call was not held until nearly five hours later, at 11am.
The fire was declared 'contained' by 9am, CNN reported.
Yet by 3:30pm the fire had spread so significantly around Lahaina that an evacuation order was given for the town, and Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke, Hawaii's acting governor, activated Hawaii's national guard.

Studios Share Contract Details After WGA Leaders Meet with Hollywood CEOs
Representatives from the Writers Guild of America (WGA) engaged in a meeting with studio executives this week in a concerted effort to bring a resolution to the ongoing strike. However, their contentment was short-lived as the particulars of the proposed contract were unexpectedly made public.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) unveiled the details of the contract offer initially extended to the WGA on August 11. This disclosure followed a recent gathering between WGA representatives and prominent figures in the entertainment industry, including luminaries such as Disney CEO Bob Iger, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, and Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, as highlighted in a report by Variety.
Carol Lombardini, President of the AMPTP, underscored the organization's dedication to concluding the strike and expressed hope for mutual accord: "Our priority is to end the strike so that valued members of the creative community can return to what they do best and to end the hardships that so many people and businesses that service the industry are experiencing. We have come to the table with an offer that meets the priority concerns the writers have expressed. We are deeply committed to ending the strike and are hopeful that the WGA will work toward the same resolution." Lombardini's statement also encompassed the contract's specifics.
The proposed contract comprehensively tackled numerous concerns voiced by the WGA. These encompassed provisions ensuring a minimum of 10 weeks of employment for the majority of TV series writers and writer-producers, alongside an augmented compensation structure for streaming residuals.
Despite these proposed concessions, the WGA committee representatives deemed them insufficient, attributing ulterior motives to the studios' decision to disclose the contract details. While entering the meeting with constructive intentions, the committee reps expressed their dissatisfaction with the encounter, describing it as a "lecture about how good their single and only counteroffer was."
Elaborating on their perspective, the committee representatives highlighted the inadequacies of the counteroffer and its failure to adequately shield writers from the existential challenges that initially prompted the strike. Asserting the price that a strike entails, the representatives conveyed their stance that such an action is a response to all, not selective, problems stemming from the studios' actions.
Regarding the intentions of the AMPTP, the committee representatives made pointed allegations: "This was the companies’ plan from the beginning – not to bargain, but to jam us. It is their only strategy – to bet that we will turn on each other." Their response illuminated a palpable tension surrounding the negotiation process and the perceived strategies of the studios involved.
