FOOD SUPPLY ATTACK: U.S. government raided and shutdown Golden Valley Farms, an independent meat producer in Virginia.

👀click to read👀

Samuel Fisher, owner of Golden Valley Farms, is being persecuted by the U.S. government all because his family raises their own animals, slaughters the meat on the farm, and sells that meat to the community. Mr. Fisher is a mild-mannered, father of five who owns and operates a 100-acre cattle farm in the heartland of Virginia. The farm began five years ago selling milk, cream, and yogurt, before they began to butcher and sell their own meat. Now the farm is under attack by government operators who are trying to shut the farm down and stop the man from feeding his own family.

Amish farmer who feeds hundreds of people in the community, under attack

“This ain't right. We had all this meat. We worked hard to get it in the freezer, process it, package it,” said Mr. Fisher in an interview with Townhall. “The next day. They came with a search warrant, went through everything, the house, every building, the barn. They just raided through everything. We can't touch it. We can't sell it. We can't feed our family. We can't give it away, can't feed it to the dogs. We can't do anything with it. They just took it to the dump.”

Mr. Fisher raises and butchers his meat on site and sells it directly to his customers. His farm feeds about 500 people in the community. The Golden Valley Farms membership program allows individuals to own part of Fisher’s herd of 100% grass-fed golden Guernsey cows.

Without warning, an inspector with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) paid Golden Valley Farms a visit on June 14th. That day, the government decided to penalize Mr. Fisher for selling meat that was not processed by a USDA-inspected facility.

Innocent farmer is raided, his property seized, for the “crime” of feeding his family and community.

When Fisher began selling meat, he went to a USDA inspector and sent the meat to the designated USDA facilities. The butchering and processing through the USDA were slow and cumbersome. Mr. Fisher was unable to ship the required quantity of animals at one time and could not operate economically and in a timely manner to satisfy his customers. “By the time the meat comes back, you might be running low on certain cuts of meat, but what you order from USDA was not accurate to that. You might run out of some stuff long before other stuff because you had to order it so far in advance.”

His customers prompted Mr. Fisher to process the meat on the farm, without a USDA inspection. When the USDA surveyed the customer base, the majority (92%) responded that they wanted the meat processed on the farm, without interference from the government. “You have to keep going because people are depending on this stuff as their medicine. I want this world to have the opportunity of finding real food,” Mr. Fisher said.

Fisher said that the lockdowns in 2020 forced him to wait 8 to 12 months to schedule the butchering process. At that time, his customers were stocking up on meat as stores were running out of supply.

“All of a sudden, we had a lot of need for meat,” Fisher said. “Well, there was no option taking it to USDA facility, so that's when the trigger was pushed to do it ourselves. Customers were buying mostly from our own meat, not so much from the USDA. Then the pandemic came and there was no other option but either not have it available or process it ourselves. So, we started processing ourselves. We put additions to the building and made a processing room and we certainly like it now.”

Mr. Fisher’s customers preferred that the meat be processed on site. “They own part of the business. They own some of the herd,” Fisher explained. “My thinking was […] We can butcher their cows, process it, and sell it to them. I told the state all of this, but they said, ‘No, there’s no way around that. You can’t do that.’” Fisher said the inspectors asked permission to search the farm. Mr. Fisher denied their request. “And they told me, ‘We’ll be back,’ and left,” Fisher said.

The state targeted his farm from there forward. They came in and took pictures and lied to the courts, claiming that Mr. Fisher was selling raw meat and was a public health risk. When the state returned to his farm, they raided the freezers and packed a U-Haul truck full of their meat. Mr. Fisher was ordered not to feed anyone again, not even his dogs or his own family. None of these customers have ever gotten sick from his products. Many depend on the products for their health and food security.

But this didn’t matter to the all-powerful state. When Mr. Fisher continued to feed his family and sell food to his community, the state came in with criminal charges and seized his farm. He now has no choice but to fight back against a rogue government.

FedEx, UPS both see PLUMMETING shipping volume as economy nears COLLAPSE.

👀click to read👀

The cargo market is imploding as shipping giants UPS and FedEx report precipitously declining package transit demand.

We know that the number of package flights operated by both FedEx Express and UPS "significantly declined month over month in July," according to Yahoo! Finance.

Since the spring of 2022, the overall cargo market has been waning. And the shipping industry's response thus far has been to impose new efficiency initiatives to try to lower costs and accommodate smaller express volumes.

Compared to the month of June, FedEx flew 9 percent fewer domestic flights in July. Year-over-year flight activity at the company was down 14 percent, according to investment bank Morgan Stanley.

From June to July, year-over-year declines in package volumes at UPS accelerated to 13 percent, up from 10 percent in June, while flight activity in May and June, comparatively, remained relatively stable.

Both FedEx and UPS have said they are reducing flight activity while also attempting to streamline their air infrastructure as part of a multi-year effort to reduce structural costs and improve profit margins.

Another way FedEx is reducing costs is by removing 29 aircraft from its fleet, either by permanent retirement or temporary storage. For the last fiscal year, which ended on May 30, FedEx retired 18 of its older aircraft and reduced global fight hours by 12 percent during the final quarter.

Wider freight recession that began last year continues as global economy heads toward cliff.

Over at UPS, there were additional problems this summer as some of its bigger customers diverted their business to FedEx and other competitors due to worry about a possible strike by its delivery drivers and warehouse workers.

That worry was eliminated this past week, however, when the Teamsters union ratified a new five-year contract ensuring a steady labor force, at least for the time being.

Still, UPS has had to make some big changes just like FedEx has, significantly reducing aircraft block hours, which contributed to a $343 million decrease in operating expenses for both its international air and ground network.

Ever since last year, there has been a wider freight recession occurring in the air cargo sector. Data from the Cirium Ascend consultancy group shows that total freight hours in July fell 7 percent year over year, while BMO Capital Markets came up with a 5.7 percent decline in dedicated freighter flight hours.

Even Amazon, the junk-peddling e-commerce monopoly, is reducing the growth rate of its private cargo airline fleet, though the company has not yet made any larger-scale adjustments like FedEx and UPS have – but it is probably coming.

"Flight activity at Amazon Air dipped 2% month over month in July after being flat in June," Yahoo! Finance reported. "Compared to last year, Amazon's flight counts actually increased 16%, three points better than in June."

"Amazon's year-over-year flight growth in July was the highest since February 2022. The flight performance aligns with an 11% increase in Amazon's North American retail sales during the second quarter and a record Prime Day last month."

While Amazon is clearly stealing market share from both FedEx and UPS, hence the latter two companies' declines, the failing economy is also a major factor. Amazon can only monopolize things for so long before even it succumbs to the building wave of economic collapse that looms in the distance.

Keep in mind as well that much of the higher shipping volume that occurred during the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "pandemic" has since come back down to earth, which partially explains the decreasing shipping volume and all the adjustments taking place at FedEx and UPS.

FEMA officials staying at $1,000-per-night luxury hotels in Maui while surviving Lahaina residents suffer without housing, supplies.

The government has arrived in Maui and is there to help ... themselves to fine dining and luxurious accommodations at some of Hawaii's fanciest hotels and resorts.

👀click to read👀

Officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are reportedly staying at $1,000-per-night luxury hotels while gorging on caviar and getting massages – all while the survivors of the Maui fire in Lahaina struggle to survive.

After its director, Deanne Criswell, begged Congress for more taxpayer cash to fund its operations, FEMA is now taking over Hawaii celebrity-style as it seeks to "help" those in need of emergency supplies and care.

Located about 45 minutes away from Lahaina, the luxury resorts where FEMA is staying are known to be frequented by celebrities and other wealthy elites. They include names like the five-star Fairmont Kea Lani, the Four Seasons, and the Grand Wailea Astoria.

FEMA says there was no other choice but to stay at Hawaii's fanciest hotels.

In a statement to the media following these revelations, FEMA tried to write it all off as just a normal part of the job in helping survivors of natural disasters find government relief.

"In the immediate aftermath of the tragic Maui wildfires, FEMA surged personnel, including hundreds of search and rescue teams, to provide relief to the survivors and support to the state and local governments as quickly as possible," the agency said.

"To complete that mission, FEMA selects hotels where all responders can be centrally located to ensure the most effective response possible. Due to the lack of available lodging, FEMA negotiated government rates, at the lowest possible cost, for staff temporarily staying in the available hotels."

Once FEMA transitions into "recovery" mode, it says its personnel will eventually "move to longer term, more affordable responder lodging as they fulfill our commitment to support Maui."

The Fairmont Kea Lani, by the way, boasts on its website that it is the "only all-suite" hotel in Hawaii. Hawaiian for "heavenly white," the Fairmont Kea Lani has been frequented by ex-James Bond star Pierce Brosnan, offering "gourmet dining" to its ultra-wealthy guests.

"The 780 rooms come with either one or two bedrooms, measuring at least 860 square feet, and have private balconies so that visitors can soak up the sunset views of what the hotel calls 'an oceanside paradise,'" reports indicate.

Over at the Four Seasons, which boasts 15 lavish acres, FEMA personnel are lounging around at the famous white fountain pool, which was once visited by Kanye West.

The Grand Wailea is another popular destination for wealthy elite, having served as the filming destination for the romantic comedy Just Go With It, starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, and Nicole Kidman.

"The hotel is set on 40 acres of tropical gardens and sits right on one of Maui's most beautiful beaches, Wailea Beach," reports explain.

"And there are 100 FEMA officials staying at the four-star Marriott Wailea Beach Resort for $531 per night, a company insider said, but where rooms currently on offer to the general public start at $749."

Contrary to FEMA's claims, there are plenty of less-expensive hotels scattered throughout the area that government officials could have stayed at for far less – but why would they when American taxpayers seem to have no problem with letting their government run up a blank check for just about everything these days?

A local government official in Hawaii named "Kaleo," who chose to withhold his surname for protection, called FEMA's decision to stay at Maui's fanciest hotels "selfish," which it absolutely is.

[Video] Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum (WEF) explains why countries will no longer need elections

Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), chats with Google's founder Sergey Brin. Schwab describes how data analytics will be able to predict the outcome of elections so well that tech companies like Google will evolve into offering "prescriptive" outcomes and will determine who our future leaders will be. So, the future will no longer need elections. However, Google's Insight Labs think tank has produced a video ("The Selfish Ledger") that demonstrates how Google can determine the thinking and thoughts of people and their offspring as well. So, how manipulated is our mainstream thinking right now, and how much more powerful will global tech companies become regarding their ability to impact our thoughts, and even our acceptance of "prescriptive" decision from tech companies.

Of course, censorship of the Internet will be necessary to eliminate other ideas that don't fit the elite's global narratives.

San Francisco Bakery Refuses Service to Armed Cops in Uniform.

👀click to read👀

A San Francisco bakery is refusing service to armed law enforcement officers in uniform, according to the San Francisco Police Officers Association.

The union shared a post via X last Thursday, saying, “NO COPS ALLOWED. That’s the confirmed policy of the bakery chain Reem’s. One of our officers was denied service last weekend because he was in uniform. Reem’s confirms that they will not serve anyone armed and in uniform. Presumably, this includes members of the US Military.”

They included a photo of the business — Reem’s bakery — and a partially redacted screenshot of an email from the company confirming the policy.

“Thank you for your email,” it read. “At Reem’s we do have a policy to not serve anyone that is armed in a uniform. All officers are welcome to come to our establishment when they are off duty and not armed.”

The Police Officers Association responded by saying that if the company did not want to serve officers who were on duty, in uniform, and potentially armed, the officers did not want to give Reem’s their business at any time.

“We are not asking Reem’s or any business with a bigoted policy to serve our officers,” the POA wrote in a follow-up post. “We’re asking them to own their discriminatory policy & and put up a sign so we know not to spend money in your establishment — on or off duty. We took the liberty of designing one for them.”

NO ENTRY. NO COPS ALLOWED,” the proposed sign read in all capital letters. “HAVE A NICE DAY.

“And this is why the city has become what it is,” former news correspondent Adam Housley responded.

The National Fraternal Order of Police had a question for Reem’s owners — namely whether or not they had requested that law enforcement not respond in the event that something criminal happened on the premises.

“Soooo has Reem’s contacted SFPD and been placed on a do not respond list or nah? Just checking …” the FOP posted.

Dems Pick Marxist Teacher to Fill Open Seat in Colorado State House.

👀click to read👀

Democrats in Colorado chose a Marxist teacher who has called for a “FORCEFUL Cultural revolution” to fill an open seat in the state’s House of Representatives.

Tim Hernández was selected by a committee of Democrats Saturday to represent the Denver area after state Rep. Serena Gonzales-Gutierrez was elected to the Denver city council, Fox News reported. The teacher, who worked at Aurora West Preparatory Academy last year, openly advocated for Marxism while calling for “White systems” to be dismantled.

“Your [communist] theory will not save you. The revolution… will happen in the hood. It will not be led by who understand Lenin best, it will not be led by the deepest Marxists,” Hernández said while speaking at a union protest. “The revolution will be led by the people…. And I say all of this because I’m a teacher.”

Hernández joined the staff at Aurora West Preparatory Academy after he said he was fired from another Denver public school for being “aggressive, divisive, and attacking,” according to an administrator. The teacher’s contract was not renewed by Denver Public Schools following the spring semester, sparking a walkout from students demanding his reinstatement, CBS News reported

“The people of Denver’s Northside and Westside deserve a representative who has lived experiences with our community’s struggles. I am happy to say today that the people of HD4 elected a teacher, a Chicano and a Northsider,” said Hernández after being chosen to fill the seat. “I am hopeful and excited that we will work to dismantle oppressive policies in Colorado and in the communities I have the privilege of representing.”

The teacher’s social media revealed that he regularly shared communist talking points and displayed flags supporting leftist causes in his classroom, such as Black Lives Matter and Palestine.

“Am I denying the freedom to uphold White supremacy? If so, I am in favor of that denial. And, White supremacy is CURRENTLY upheld by force. So yes, I’m advocating a FORCEFUL cultural revolution wherein we assert the dignity of life for all at the expense of White supremacy,” Hernández wrote on Twitter in 2021.

“We’re talking about Whiteness and White supremacy. And I’m willing to advocate for any form of disruption to it and every manifestation it has,” he added.

The communist teacher also wants young children to be exposed to Marxist thought by showing them the movie “A Bug’s Life” and then teaching them about the “proletariat revolution,” Fox News reported.

“A lot of people call me a ‘unicorn.’ I am not an anomaly,” Hernández said, according to notes for a rally in Memphis in 2021. “I am a testament to the work we still have to do; this is sacred; this is powerful; this is necessary. I tell my students the truth.”

Both the Colorado House of Representatives and the state Senate are controlled by Democrats. In 2022, the party’s majority increased by eight seats in the state House and four seats in the state Senate.

Comments -

-If these lasers are starting fires, I would also look into the rash of factory and plant fires we've had in the US.

-A few months after 'Chinese lazers' over Hawaii, Hawaii burns. A few months after 'Chinese spy balloon' flies over western Canada, western Canada burns. I'm sure its just an uncanny coincidence. (cough)

-We had the same beams of light here in Oregon during the 2019/2020 fires 🔥 no one believed us either

-"Is this a risk to locals?" -"No it's not" 5 months later, everyone is dead

-Remember when wish was selling the green lasers that can light matches? And just because it's a Chinese satellite doesn't mean America isn't involved.

BBC hits households with more than 36 million TV licence fee warnings

The stats, reported by the Telegraph, show the BBC issued 36,166,582 letters between 2022 and 2023, up just over one percent on the 35,695,538 sent between 2021 and 2022.

This marks a much larger six percent increase on the 34 million letters reportedly sent between 2020 and 2021.

The funds generated by the TV licence fee support the creation of BBC programmes and services and those who watch TV live - as well as those who stream BBC iPlayer - must pay the annual cost of £159. For black and white TV, the cost is £53.50.

Any households that evade the payment face an enforcement letter from TV Licencing to warn households to pay if they require one or face a penalty.

FBI scrambling to track migrants who entered US with help of ISIS-linked smuggler

The FBI is reportedly scrambling to find more than a dozen Uzbek nationals who sought asylum in the US earlier this year after intelligence officers discovered they traveled to the southern border with the help of a smuggler who has ties to ISIS.

They are also scrutinizing a number of migrants as possible criminal threats; two unnamed federal officials told the news network. But authorities say no specific ISIS plot has been identified.

“There was no indication — and remains no indication — that any of the individuals facilitated by this network have a connection to a foreign terrorist organization, or are engaged in plotting a terrorist attack in the United States,” Watson stressed.

California Attorney General Sues School District Over Gender Parental Notification Policy.

👀click to read👀

California Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a civil rights lawsuit against a school district on Monday to halt its recently adopted policy that requires schools to inform parents about student gender transitions.

Bonta announced earlier this month he launched an investigation into the Chino Valley Unified School District, which represents over 26,000 students in San Bernardino County, after district officials passed a policy in July that requires teachers to inform parents within three days if their child uses names and pronouns different from their birth certificate, or requests to use school facilities or join sports team opposite of their gender.

“Every student has the right to learn and thrive in a school environment that promotes safety, privacy, and inclusivity – regardless of their gender identity,” Bonta said in a news release.

The state’s attorney general argued the district’s “forced outing policy” discriminates against the privacy rights of LGBTQ+ students and the California Constitution.

“The forced outing policy wrongfully endangers the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of non-conforming students who lack an accepting environment in the classroom and at home,” he said. “Our message to Chino Valley Unified and all school districts in California is loud and clear: We will never stop fighting for the civil rights of LGBTQ+ students.”

Chino Valley Unified spokesperson Andi Johnston told The Los Angeles Times that the district has been working with the state’s investigation of the policy and has offered “complete transparency.”

“At this time, the district is working with its legal counsel to review the lawsuit and its contents,” Johnston told the outlet.

Earlier this month, a parents-rights activists group reportedly staged a demonstration outside the California Capitol in Sacramento, condemning so-called gender-affirming bills while promoting parental notification involving student gender policies.

Sonja Shaw, president of the Chino Valley Unified Board of Education, became the leading advocate for the district’s policy.

She told The Los Angeles Times that Bonta’s actions displayed “government overreach” and an “aggressive” response to the measure designed to bring transparency between schools and parents.

“We will stand our ground and protect our children with all we can because we are not breaking the law,” Shaw told the Times. “Parents have a constitutional right in the upbringing of their children, period. Bring it.”

Shaw, who became a local advocate for parental rights amid the state’s pandemic response, reportedly said that state investigators subpoenaed her emails and text messages.

“[Bonta’s] automatically trying to assume parents are dangerous, and I think that’s a dangerous, dangerous direction that they’re heading in,” Shaw told Fox News. “And you see it all over California. They’re trying to push out parents, and I think that is something that we need to stand up for right now.”

California has become a leading state in the nation, promoting several new radical gender theory-related laws expected to gain momentum in the coming weeks, including undermining parental authority, requiring state-controlled curriculum, and targeting local school boards.

The movement has sparked pushback from parents, school boards, and lawmakers statewide to condemn such policies.

Republican Assemblymember Bill Essayli introduced AB 1314, which would require schools to notify parents if their child uses different pronouns or a change in identity. Essayli modeled the bill after the Chino Valley Unified School District adopted its policy that has since influenced other California school districts to adopt a similar principled action.

“We will accomplish our legislative priorities either through here or through the people directly,” Essayli said at the recent rally outside the California State Capitol in Sacramento, according to POLITICO.

Although the California State Assembly has yet to pass the bill, Essayli continues to push through every school district.

Dozens of Freight Trains, Including At Least 15 Carrying Hazardous Materials, Have Derailed Since East Palestine

On March 4, a Union Pacific train in Ogden, Utah released magnesium chloride. On March 8, a CSX train spilled diesel fuel into a West Virginia River.  On March 30, a BNSF train crashed and burst into flames, igniting ethanol and forcing midnight evacuations in Minnesota. On June 26, molten asphalt spilled into the Yellowstone River in Montana after a bridge collapsed. And in a four-day span in July, freight trains in PennsylvaniaMinnesotaMontana, and Wisconsin, all with hazardous materials on board, derailed.

These were just a few of the 59 freight train derailments in the six months following the East Palestine disaster that were significant enough to be reported in local or national news, according to data compiled by Motherboard. Fifteen of those derailments involved cars with hazardous materials. By contrast, there were 33 freight train derailments reported in local and national media in the six months prior to East Palestine, which thrust freight rail safety issues into the national spotlight

(Part of this difference is probably attributable to the attention the East Palestine disaster got, making outlets more likely to cover derailments.)  Motherboard did not include passenger rail derailments or derailments caused by extreme weather or vehicles on the tracks in the data.

Massachusetts Elementary Schools Ban Talk of Weapons, Shooting Gestures

Elementary-school students in Somerset, Mass., will face new rules around discussing and gesturing weapons when they return to class next week.

Now, students will be prohibited from gesturing the use of weapons and from talking about guns or knives on school grounds, WBZ-TV reported. It was not immediately clear what the punishment would be for students who violate the new rules.

Plante said staff at all three of the town’s elementary school requested the new rules in an effort to curb school violence.

Florida Surgeon General Slams Return of Mask Mandates Across Country, Urges People To Refuse ‘To Participate.’

👀click to read👀

Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo slammed mask mandates as “terrible policies” Thursday and urged people not to comply as entities across the country return to forced masking.

Schools, hospitals, and businesses across the country are enforcing mask mandates again as some scientists warn of a rise in COVID cases. Earlier this week, Morris Brown College in Atlanta announced it will bring back a mask mandate despite having zero reported cases of COVID on campus and Lionsgate film studio in California said it was also reinstating mask mandates for some of its Santa Monica offices. Lionsgate later lifted the mandate, saying it had contained the COVID spread.

“What do you call re-imposing mask policies that have been proven ineffective or restarting lockdowns that are known to cause harm? You don’t call it sanity,” Ladapo posted to X. “These terrible policies only work with your cooperation. How about refusing to participate…”

A return to mask mandates has also been pushed by legacy media outlets this week. CNN published an article on Wednesday titled, “It may be time to break out the masks against Covid, some experts say.” A CBS News medical contributor argued Friday that “People 65-plus and people who are immunocompromised should strongly consider masking during flu, RSV, COVID season while in indoor public spaces. And for everyone else — it all depends on what their risk tolerance is.”

The Florida surgeon general has long opposed mask mandates, saying in March 2022 that the argument used to push mask mandates is “a lie,” adding, “It needs to stop, and people need to un-believe it.”

Ladapo has also opposed vaccine mandates and worked with Governor Ron DeSantis to make Florida the first state to recommend against COVID vaccines for healthy children after releasing a study suggesting the vaccine poses a higher health risk to young men. DeSantis signed legislation in May banning forced masking and vaccine mandates in Florida. The law makes any mask mandate in any school from kindergarten through college illegal.

“First, the bill really goes back to the idea of prescribing freedom, and it really does a lot of things. It makes all these protections permanent that we have done over the last two years,” DeSantis said after signing the bill.

WOKE VATICAN: Millions Resist Pope’s “Hostile Takeover”

It’s coming back this fall, but are the covid lockdowns absolutely necessary to keep you safe? Well, it depends on how you score on the Asch Conformity Experiment.

Padre DJ “pumps up the jams” for young people in devil’s horns and witches’ costumes. But Pope Francis blessed his headphones, anyway, and then invited him to World Youth Day.

Resistance is futile. Tell it to Oliver Anthony, a no-name musician who just blew up the music charts worldwide and took his protest anthem to a hundred million people.

Plus, there is a new book out with a foreword by Raymond Cardinal Burke. It is all about the Synod on Synodality, and His Eminence delivers a dire warning to Pope Francis.

Finally, The Vigano Effect. . . what is it, and could it change the future of the Catholic counterrevolution?

LA Mayor: Illegal Aliens Aren’t Invited to Our Soon-To-Be Sanctuary City.

👀click to read👀

A little over two months ago, the Los Angeles City Council voted to officially become a “Sanctuary City” in the “Sanctuary State” of California. Now, L.A. Mayor Karen Bass (D) is saying that illegal aliens aren’t invited to the City of Angeles — in stark contrast to her prior statements.

Bass’ newfound opposition comes after Texas Governor Greg Abbott has spent months busing illegal immigrants to L.A.

“L.A. has not extended an invitation asking for people to come,” Bass told Fox L.A. anchor Marla Tellez. “This is a political act.”

At first, Bass was receptive to the newcomers and her Democratic colleagues rallied to prove Abbott wrong; L.A. would welcome these migrants, contrary to the Texas governor’s gambit, they argued.

“Los Angeles is not a city motivated by hate or fear and we absolutely will not be swayed or moved by petty politicians playing with human lives,” Bass said in June. “We are a city that seeks to treat all people with dignity and compassion, and we will continue to work closely with non-profit organizations, including the L.A. Welcomes Collective, as well as with our County, State and Federal partners.”

LA Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez even said point blank that Abbott’s actions were the motivating factor behind fighting for sanctuary status and one that welcomes all people.

“These dangerous actions from far-right, weak-minded politicians who rely on stunts instead of actual leadership are exactly why we’re fighting to make L.A. a sanctuary city,” Hernandez said. “L.A. was built by immigrants, and it thrives because of immigrants. We will continue to be a place that values and dignifies all human life, no matter who they are or where they come from.”

That sounds like a pretty open-ended invite.

On June 9, the LA Council officially passed an ordinance granting Hernandez’s request. Now, all they’re waiting on to officially become a sanctuary is effectively some paperwork.

It seems Bass better put the kibosh on that, or she can expect a lot more illegal aliens to arrive — or she can join the GOP and pressure federally-elected Democrats to finally secure the border. The choice is hers.

Xi didn’t deliver speech, but his message is loud and clear: China is out to end America’s global hegemony through BRICS.

👀click to read👀

Chinese President Xi Jinping missed a scheduled speech at a key multilateral business forum during the 15th BRICS Summit in South Africa on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Xi arrived Monday night, Aug. 21, in Johannesburg for the summit on what is only his second international trip this year. He was met on the airport tarmac by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The summit schedule indicated that Xi was expected to attend the forum and deliver remarks. But instead, his speech was read out by Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao.

No official reason has been given for Xi's absence. It appeared to be a last-minute decision, as state media articles and social media posts from China's foreign ministry spokesperson were published as though Xi had delivered the speech himself.

Some observers speculated that Xi might be ill, but the Chinese leader attended the summit dinner later that day.

Bill Bishop, author of a popular newsletter about Chinese affairs entitled "Sinocism," noted that there had been a long period this month without any public appearances by Xi, which seemed "a bit strange" for the leader of the Asian giant.

"This last-minute decision to skip the business forum looks even stranger. So in the absence of any useful information from the PRC [People's Republic of China] system rumors will fly," he said.

The China Global South Project noted this was the second unexplained absence by a Chinese official. Former Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang has not been seen in public for months, even before he missed the BRICS foreign ministers' virtual meeting last month.

"To say [Xi’s absence] is extraordinary is an understatement as Chinese leaders never miss highly choreographed events like this," it said.

Speech read by Xi's commerce minister loaded with thinly veiled attacks on the U.S.

But even without Xi to deliver it, the speech is predictably loaded with anti-U.S. narratives. It described an unnamed country as "obsessed with maintaining hegemony, [and] has gone out of its way to cripple the emerging markets and developing countries."

"Whoever develops first becomes their target of containment. Whoever is catching up becomes its target of obstruction," Wang said on behalf of Xi.

The BRICS countries – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – represent about 40 percent of the world's population and a quarter of global GDP. Leaders of all member nations except Vladimir Putin attended in person as he currently faces an arrest warrant for war crimes issued by the international criminal court.

The BRICS summit was attended by representatives of dozens of other countries, as the main members consider expanding its membership. The bloc has also been trying to replace the U.S. dollar as the premier currency of international reserves and medium of exchange.

South African Ambassador to BRICS Anil Sooklal was recently quoted as saying: "The days of a dollar-centric world is over. That's a reality. We have a multipolar global trading system today."

Some members like China are seeking to build up BRICS as a counterweight to western blocs like the G7 or G20, but there seems to be a division within the group.

On Tuesday, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said it isn't the group’s aim to compete with western institutions. India's leadership is also hesitant to empower China through BRICS.

Judge blocks university ban on church elder who called out transgender student for joining sorority.

👀click to read👀

A federal judge recently blocked a yearlong ban on a church elder who called out a transgender student in the University of Wyoming (UW) Student Union. The said Christian activist openly called a female-identifying transgender student "male."

On Dec. 2, 2022, Todd Schmidt, an elder at Laramie Faith Community Church, set up a table in the UW student union with a sign that read, "God created male and female and Artemis Langford is a male." Langford is a transgender student who joined the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority earlier that year. This move prompted members to sue the national Greek organization for accepting a biological male into the all-female group.

Students crowded around his table blocking his message from sight until Dean Ryan O'Neil, a UW administrator, asked Schmidt to remove the student's name from his sign. He initially refused but complied after they threatened to call the police on him. Schmidt continued to debate with students passing by for the remainder of that day.

"I'm just trying to tell the truth and bring people to God. That's all there is. There are not any more genders than that. Biology teaches everybody about that," Schmidt said, according to a report on the student newspaper Branding Iron, where the transgender concerned is a reporter.

The incident ultimately led to the university placing a one-year sanction on Schmidt. While he is still allowed in other areas of the campus, he can no longer reserve a table in the UW student union until the spring of 2024.

In a campus-wide message sent on Dec. 5, UW officials said Schmidt "violated the university policy prohibiting discrimination and harassment," noting that "a line was crossed when a student was harassed by name." The religious advocate argued that the area serves as a public forum and that his message was not harassment but First Amendment-protected speech.

On Aug. 18, a federal judge ruled that UW "appears to be favoring one viewpoint over another." In a preliminary injunction, the U.S. District Court in Wyoming sided with Schmidt, ordering the university to not ban him from tabling on campus while the case proceeds.

According to U.S. Senior District Judge Nancy Freudenthal, the inclusion of the student's name was necessary for the Christian activist to fully express his opinion. "Schmidt's speech was expressive, with the intent to convey a particular message," the judge wrote. "Schmidt mentions Artemis Langford by name, but that is unavoidable, as the debate revolves around the propriety of a particular biological male participating in an activity – joining a sorority – traditionally reserved for biological females."

"Schmidt does not misgender Langford to denigrate her, but to debate a public issue," the ruling further included. "This is particularly true on college campuses because they are the 'marketplace of ideas.' While elementary and public schools prioritize the inculcation of social values, universities seek to encourage inquiry and the challenging of a priori assumptions," Freudenthal added. "Therefore, this Court finds that Schmidt's speech is protected free expression and not harassment or discriminatory conduct."

UW said in a statement that although it is disappointed, it will comply with the terms of the preliminary injunction while weighing on whether to keep defending its policy in court.

Sorority sisters sue Kappa Kappa Gamma for admitting biological male into the group.

Schmidt's message that he posted on his UW student union table triggered seven sorority sisters from the UW chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma to file a lawsuit, pointing out that the organization violated its own rules by admitting male-born Langford in September 2022. The suit was seeking damages from the national sorority. It also asked for the revocation of Langford's membership.

Langford may not live in the Kappa house, but he spends time there frequently in areas reserved for women, watching the female members as they walk into the bathroom with only a towel on or spending hours sitting on a couch "staring at them without talking," the complaint explained.

"Some plaintiffs sought to live in Kappa's single-sex environment because of religious or moral beliefs that young, unmarried women should not live with young, unmarried men," the lawsuit stated, adding that one of the plaintiffs is "a victim of sexual assault who wanted a safe place to interact with other college students without the presence of men."

Meanwhile, back in June, the national sorority filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, denouncing it as a "frivolous" attempt to remove Langford from the organization for "political purposes."

"Kappa defines its membership in its position statement adopted in 2015 as individuals who identify as women," the motion read. "Plaintiffs cannot identify any bylaw, standing rule, or policy that prohibits Kappa from taking this position, and the term is unquestionably open to multiple interpretations."

Vitamin B12 so powerfully beneficial for brain health that psychiatric drugs could become OBSOLETE.

👀click to read👀

A shocking number of psychiatric disorders that Western medicine tries to treat with pharmaceutical drugs have at their root a vitamin B12 deficiency, which is easily remedied through diet and supplementation.

In a piece she wrote for The Epoch Times, Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) founding president Sally Fallon Morell unpacked the findings of a 2015 case report published in the Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine (IJPM) concerning vitamin B12 deficiency and neuropsychological disorders.

In that report, a 13-year-old boy from southern India who was following a traditional lacto-vegetarian diet suddenly stopped talking while exhibiting "rigidity, immobility, staring look, disturbed sleep, ideas of worthlessness and hopelessness, aimless wandering, and guilt and suicidal ideas."

Manifesting many common symptoms associated with autism, the boy was placed on an ever-evolving cocktail of drugs after being diagnosed with "acute schizophrenia-like psychotic disorder." He was given:

• Lorazepam, a drug used to treat anxiety disorders

• Olanzapine, an antipsychotic drug

• Sertraline, an antidepressant drug more commonly known as Zoloft

• Aripiprazole, an antipsychotic drug

When those four strong drugs ultimately failed the body, resulting in him becoming hyper with "suspiciousness, hearing voices, over-talkativeness, over-cheerfulness, inflated self-esteem, decreased need for sleep, increased appetite, increased pleasurable activities, and disruptive socio-education," his diagnosis was revised to "schizoaffective disorder, manic type" and his Zoloft was replaced with divalproate sodium, a drug used to treat seizures.

After the boy's symptoms worsened even more, he returned for yet a sixth drug: lithium carbonate, a drug used to treat bipolar disorder.

Before taking dangerous pharmaceuticals, try upping your vitamin B12 levels first.

Nothing was working until finally the boy was tested for vitamin B12 levels, revealing that he was grossly deficient at only 112 nanograms per milliliter (ng/mL) – the normal B12 range is between 180-914 ng/mL, with 180 ng/mL being associated with the most severe manifestation of B12 deficiency, known as pernicious anemia.

Even B12 levels of 500-550 ng/mL is considered in Japan and some European countries to be associated with psychological and behavioral manifestations such as dementia and memory loss.

After the boy was given several injections of vitamin B12, lo and behold his symptoms improved and his diagnosis was revised to "schizoaffective disorder secondary to Cobalamin (vitamin B12) deficiency" – problem solved.

It was a very simple solution – and a safe one, at that – and yet it took multiple rounds of erroneous drugging and testing before Indian doctors were able to figure out that the boy simply lacked a necessary vitamin crucial to his brain health and mental abilities.

"B12 deficiency is associated with a wide range of psychological disorders – depression, memory loss, Alzheimer's, anxiety, irrational or chronic anger, violent behavior, and other psychological problems," Morell notes.

"And vitamin B12 therapy has proved useful for a range of conditions deemed neurological – vision problems, loss of hearing and tinnitus, numbness and tingling in the hands and feet, alcoholism, impotence, incontinence, neuralgia, combat fatigue, and lack of balance or abnormal gait."

"In addition, low B12 is indicated in a range of other diseases – osteoporosis, asthma, skin conditions including psoriasis, diabetes, glaucoma, infertility, and of course anemia."

Among the best natural sources of vitamin B12 are meat and raw milk, as well as liver and mollusks. Some plant foods such as soy, mushrooms, and spirulina, also contain B12, but in a form that can actually worsen B12 deficiency due to the presence of B12 analogs called cobamides that can lead to an overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine.

The Truth About Lab-Grown Meat.

I have over 30 yrs of experience in pharma mammalian cell culture. This is a pretty good summary of the situation. We recently performed a cost-benefit analysis for a client and reported a similar summation. However, the other major factor that is not covered here is the volumes of purified water needed to run the bioreactors. The water use will be even higher per Kg than animal husbandry which is already a strain on global ecological systems. Purified water is surprisingly expensive to produce and can only be done in geographic regions with the resources available; that is, it’s not happening in the desert southwest of the US or in Saharan Africa. Water resources are increasingly valuable around the globe for basic human needs, diverting those resources to manufacture synthetic meat just moves an already intractable problem from one place to another.

I always assumed that the biggest asset with growing lab based meat. Was not meat for consumption. But to develop it even further so the technology would be come so good that you could grow a complete new organ.
Like if Mike needed a new kidney. the technology would be so good that they could use some of his cells to change it in to a new kidney made from his own DNA. The lab grown meat for food is just a stepping stone.

I'm glad you included the part about serum, far too much of the coverage of lab grown meat omits it and it's one of the two biggest issues for lab grown meat. The other, of course being extremely high energy usage. The other issues are serious, but probably reducible.

I've worked in the cell cultured meat industry. We're moving past FBS. There's several alternatives, look up Okara. Also regarding scale, a company recently opened up a factory. Their prospective output is 100000 lbs of meat. And not just ground meat, breast and thigh are getting close to market.

Biden PAC Exposed in Shock Report You Wont Believe How Much Just Went Missing

A political action committee is a group that mostly raises cash for political campaigns. Politicians often rely on these groups to keep their candidacies alive. Millions and millions of dollars flow through these PACs since they are rarely limited by the same financial restrictions that are placed on campaigns.

As you can imagine, Democrats love PACs.

One particular group has been helping to bankroll Joe Biden’s campaign. Future Forward USA Action has been raising millions to keep leftist puppet Joe in office. According to recent filings, the group deposited millions of dollars into its related PAC Future Forward. Except, millions have gone missing. And someone might be in big trouble.

From The Epoch Times:

Nearly $12 million is missing in financial disclosures for a super political action committee for President Joe Biden, prompting calls for an investigation.

Future Forward said that it received $3.4 million from its associated nonprofit, Future Forward USA Action. But Future Forward USA Action said in tax documents that it passed $15.3 million to Future Forward.

Renowned Climate Scientists Warn Public: Green Agenda Based on ‘Hoax.'

👀click to read👀

Two of the world’s most renowned climate scientists have spoken out to warn the public that the green agenda being peddled by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and its globalist allies is based on a “hoax.”

As Slay News has extensively reported, governments around the world are scrambling to meet the “Net Zero” goals of the green agenda.

This destructive agenda is being led by the WEF and other similarly-aligned unelected bureaucratic organizations such as the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

The alleged goal of the green agenda is to fight the so-called “global warming/climate change/global boiling crisis.”

However, meeting these goals means ramping up taxes, stripping the public of basic freedoms, and drastically lowering the quality of life for the general population.

But as the corporate media continues to increasingly stoke fear in the public about the claimed “threat” from the “climate crisis,” actual experts are now starting to come forward to dispute the so-called “settled science.”

Democrat President Joe Biden’s WEF-aligned administration’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has just introduced new rules to cut CO2 emissions in electricity generation, to supposedly fight “climate change.”

Two prominent climate scientists are pushing back, however, warning in recent testimony that new EPA regulations “will be disastrous for the country, for no scientifically justifiable reason.”

William Happer, professor emeritus in physics at Princeton University, and Richard Lindzen, professor emeritus of atmospheric science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), have both gone on the record to warn that the claims made by Biden’s EPA are based on a “hoax” and only serve to advance the globalist green agenda.

Citing extensive data to support their case, Happer and Lindzen argue that the claims used by the EPA to justify the new regulations are not based on scientific facts but rather political opinions, globalist narratives, and speculative models that have consistently proven to be wrong.

“The unscientific method of analysis, relying on consensus, peer review, government opinion, models that do not work, cherry-picking data and omitting voluminous contradictory data, is commonly employed in these studies and by the EPA in the Proposed Rule,” Happer and Lindzen testified.

“None of the studies provides scientific knowledge, and thus none provides any scientific support for the Proposed Rule.”

“All of the models that predict catastrophic global warming fail the key test of the scientific method: they grossly overpredict the warming versus actual data,” they stated.

“The scientific method proves there is no risk that fossil fuels and carbon dioxide will cause catastrophic warming and extreme weather.”

Climate models like the ones that the EPA is using have been consistently wrong for decades in predicting actual outcomes, Happer warns.

However, such fearmongering data serves well when it comes to pushing the public to comply with unpopular policies.

“That was already an embarrassment in the ‘90s when I was director of energy research in the U.S. Department of Energy,” he said.

“I was funding a lot of this work, and I knew very well then that the models were overpredicting the warming by a huge amount.”

He and his colleague argued that the EPA has grossly overstated the harm from CO2 emissions while ignoring the benefits of CO2 to life on Earth.

Many who have fought against EPA climate regulations have done so by arguing what is called the “major questions doctrine.”

The argument is that the EPA does not have the authority to invent regulations that have such an enormous impact on Americans without clear direction from Congress.

Happer and Lindzen, however, have taken a different tack.

They argue that the EPA regulations fail the “State Farm” test because they are “arbitrary and capricious.”

“Time and again, courts have applied ‘State Farm’s’ principles to invalidate agency rules where the agency failed to consider an important aspect of the problem, or cherry-picked data to support a pre-ordained conclusion,” they stated.

The case they referred to is the 2003 case of State Farm v. Campell (pdf), in which the Supreme Court argued that “a State can have no legitimate interest in deliberately making the law so arbitrary that citizens will be unable to avoid punishment based solely upon bias or whim.”

According to Happer and Lindzen’s testimony, “600 million years of CO2 and temperature data contradict the theory that high levels of CO2 will cause catastrophic global warming.”

They present CO2 and temperature data indicating much higher levels of both CO2 and temperatures than today, with little correlation between the two.

Biden Admin Pumps $1.4 Billion into New Covid Vaccine Push.

👀click to read👀

Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration is pumping a staggering $1.4 billion taxpayer money into a new Covid vaccine push.

Despite the pandemic being over, Biden’s Health and Human Services (HHS) has directed the funding for new Covid research, vaccines, and therapies.

The move comes amid a recent expansion of a Covid fear campaign from the corporate media as the 2024 election approaches.

The big tax dollar spending suggests that Biden may be preparing to make his administration’s Covid response the centerpiece of his 2024 campaign.

Biden’s HHS issued a statement on the new effort that reads:

Today, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), awarded more than $1.4 billion for Project NextGen to support the development of a new generation of tools and technologies to protect against COVID-19 for years to come.

The awards announced today follow extensive coordination with industry partners and include support for clinical trials that will enable the rapid development of even more effective and longer-lasting coronavirus vaccines, a new monoclonal antibody, and transformative technologies to streamline manufacturing processes.

“Project NextGen is a key part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to keeping people safe from COVID-19 variants,” said HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra. “These awards are a catalyst for the program – kickstarting efforts to more quickly develop vaccines and continue to ensure availability of effective treatments.”

Project NextGen is a $5 billion behemoth led by ASPR’s Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) in partnership with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

Dr. Anthony Fauci’s replacement as the new director of NIAID is Dr. Jeanne Marrazzo.

Marrazzo is the mask-pushing, lab-leak-denying, vaccine-embracing, diversity choice of the medical-bureaucratic complex.

Much of the money is going to Covid vaccine development.

Los Angeles-area crime task force makes 11 arrests linked to brazen smash-and-grab robberies.

Atask force formed to combat the rash of brazen smash-and-grab retail thefts plaguing the Los Angeles region has made 11 arrests since its launch last week, authorities said Thursday.

The Los Angeles Police Department said the arrests were made in connection with four of nine cases the Organized Retail Crime Taskforce (ORCT) is investigating.

"The city of Los Angeles and neighboring cities have recently experienced an increase in `flash-mob' method retail crime incidents conducted by multiple suspects targeting retail establishments throughout the Los Angeles region," the LAPD said in a statement.

The cases in which arrests were made were related to thefts at a Versace store, Warehouse Shoe Store and Nordstrom, all in Los Angeles, and a Yves Saint Laurent store in the suburb of Glendale.

The identities of the suspects were not released. The region has seen an uptick in flash mob robberies, where large groups of thieves often overwhelm store employees and security personnel and ransack retailers, often fleeing with thousands of dollars' worth of merchandise.

"These are not victimless crimes," LA Mayor Karen Bass previously said. "No Angeleno should feel like it is not safe to go shopping in Los Angeles. No entrepreneur should feel like it’s not safe to open a business in Los Angeles."

Nordstrom in the Topanga Mall was targeted earlier this month as 30 to 50 people were captured on video knocking over clothing displays, to the shock of customers. The suspects fled with nearly $100,000 worth of handbags and clothes and into waiting getaway vehicles.

In the Yves Saint Laurent heist, thieves got away with $300,000 in stolen goods.

Court decides 1st Amendment protects joke about 'zombie apocalypse'

A federal appeals court affirmed Friday that a Facebook joke, which compared COVID-19 to a zombie apocalypse, that led to a man’s arrest as a terrorist, is protected speech under the First Amendment, reversing a lower court’s decision.

Waylon Bailey, a resident of Rapides Parish in central Louisiana, made a Facebook post on March 20, 2020, that jokingly compared COVID-19 to a zombie apocalypse, referencing the movie World War Z — police officers later showed up at Bailey’s house and arrested him for “terrorizing,” according to court documents. When Bailey sued, the district court dismissed his claims that the police department violated his First and Fourth amendment rights, a decision the Fifth Circuit reversed on Friday.

BREAKING: CDC admits COVID infection could be more likely among vaccinated individuals

An update from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows the federal health agency has admitted that a new omicron BA.2.86 sub lineage variant could be more capable of infecting vaccinated than unvaccinated individuals.

CDC admits it.

An August 23 update by the CDC states that the variant BA.2.86, dubbed “Pirola”, may be causing increased infections among those who have received the COVID vaccine.

“BA.2.86 may be more capable of causing infection in people who have previously had COVID-19 or who have received COVID-19 vaccines,” the CDC’s risk assessment update reads.

“Scientists are evaluating the effectiveness of the forthcoming, updated COVID-19 vaccine.”

The CDC further stated that they believe yet another booster shot, to be released sometime in the fall, will be effective at reducing severe disease and hospitalization.

The CDC has been at the forefront of providing guidance on COVID-19 prevention and control measures. They have developed and updated guidelines for various aspects of the pandemic, including mask-wearing, social distancing, testing, and vaccination.

Last year, the CDC dropped special quarantine recommendations for unvaccinated persons, finally admitting that natural immunity should be considered and that vaccines don’t stop infection.

The policy was approved by Bishop Robert McManus, who previously rejected a Jesuit-affiliated school's Catholic status after it refused to stop flying "Black Lives Matter" and LGBT activist flags.

The superintendent for Catholic schools in the diocese, David Perda, said in a statement last week, "While some schools had policies in place, others did not. Individual situations were arising which underscored a need for a single policy which clearly states Church teaching and provides consistent application of that teaching across all our schools."

The diocese's insistence that its Catholic schools and the roughly 9,000 students therein hold fast and true to church teaching has enraged LGBT activists and other radical leftists, who have taken to protest and called the policy "an act of violence."

What does the policy say?

The policy underscores that the purpose of all entities of the Catholic Church, including its schools, is to further the "saving mission of Jesus Christ."

Accordingly, rather than peddling social constructivist propaganda in the classroom or participating in the latest leftist fad, the schools "must operate in accord with the truth revealed by God in both natural law and divine revelation."

In light of church teaching, the policy underscores that sex ought to be reserved for married couples and that marriage "is always ordered by its very nature to both the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of children."

The policy further intimates that unmarried persons, regardless of sexual preference, are alternatively "called to chastity."

Extra to referencing tradition, scripture, and canon law, the policy notes that Pope Francis has repeatedly rebuked gender ideology and and other such "ideologies that attempt to sunder what are inseparable aspects of reality."

Finally, the policy makes clear that this rejection of gender ideology and the LGBT agenda is not simply a matter of faith, but based on realities "also knowable through the use of properly functioning senses and right reason."

Policy implications

The policy explicitly prohibits bullying of the non-straight and the confused, but also bars students from advocating, celebrating, or expressing "same-sex attraction in such a way as to cause confusion or distraction in the context of Catholic school classes, activities, or events.

Romantic or sexual displays of any kind, straight or otherwise, are not permitted at school.

Rather than embrace woke euphemisms, the policy also notes that should homosexuality or homosexual inclinations come up in academic discussion, the term "same-sex attraction" is preferred.

In terms of transvestism, the diocese's policy states, "All students are expected to conduct themselves at school in a manner consistent with their biological sex."

School administrators, staff, and other employees will similarly "consider the gender of all students as being consistent with their biological sex, including, but not limited to, the following: participation in school athletics; school-sponsored dances; dress and uniform policies; the use of changing facilities, showers, locker rooms, and bathrooms (with rare exceptions only on a limited, case-by-case basis, to be determined by the principal of the school); titles, names, and pronouns; and official school documents."

In the event a student flouts this policy in a disruptive manner, the diocese reserves the right to oust the student from the school.

Leftist meltdown

MassLive.com reported that the youth-focused LGBT activist group Love Your Labels, MassEquality, the local YWCA, and other groups have attempted to pressure the diocese into backing down by way of protest, political pressure, and petition.

Love Your Labels denounced the diocese's reiteration of Catholic doctrine and social teaching, calling it "a regressive step that has far-reaching consequences for the wellbeing and inclusivity of over 9,00 students," adding that it "not only contradicts the core principles of inclusivity and acceptance, but also perpetuates harm to LGBTQ+ individuals."

While claiming that "faith and acceptance can coexist," the activist outfit demanded that the Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester "reconsider and revoke these policies, embracing a stance that values and uplifts all young people in our community."

Joshua Croke, the president of Love Your Labels, who refers to himself as a plurality, stressed that the policy is "an act of violence."

State Sen. Robyn Kennedy (D) joined Croke and a handful of other LGBT activists Wednesday to protest the diocese's affirmation of its Christian faith, stating that she was "deeply disappointed in this policy."

While she encouraged activists to fight the policy, that may be a losing battle given that the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is leaning into the fight against gender ideology.

For instance, the USCCB notified Catholic health care institutions in March that they are not to perform sex-change mutilations or provide irreversible cross-sex hormones.

Worcester is not alone in remaining steadfast in its commitment to tradition.

TheBlaze previously reported that the Catholic Diocese of Des Moines, Iowa, implemented a similar policy to Worcester's in its 17 schools, four hospitals, and 80 parishes, thereby buttressing old common sense.

The Archdiocese of Omaha, Nebraska, and others have similarly followed suit.

Biden EV agenda has U.S. turning to rogue region using children in unsafe mines

In order to facilitate electric vehicle (EV) production, the U.S. is seeking to spend taxpayer dollars to develop cobalt supply chains from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), a country which is known for high prevalence of unsafe child labor in its mines, many of which are controlled by Chinese interests, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Department of Labor (DOL) are jointly committing $23 million in taxpayer funds to U.S. firms and other mining companies to integrate local Congolese operations and “artisanal” mines into their supply chains, as well as to improve labor standards for miners in the DRC, which are essentially non-existent in most cases, according to the WSJ.

Chinese-controlled interests dominate the DRC’s cobalt industry, refining about 75% of the global cobalt supply and manufacturing approximately 70% of the world’s lithium-ion batteries, which are cobalt-intensive products that power EVs.

Oklahoma gov calls to reinstate 'Remain in Mexico': 'You don't have a brain' if you don't want a secure border.

Gov. Kevin Stitt joined Republican leaders at the Texas border to witness the migrant crisis firsthand.

After visiting the southern border and witnessing the migrant crisis firsthand, Oklahoma Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt is calling on the Biden administration to reinstate the Trump-era "Remain in Mexico" policy, telling "Fox & Friends" Tuesday that Americans want a secure border.

GOV. KEVIN STITT: We don't understand why they keep doubling down on this. The material is already there on the border. Americans want a secure border. And I like to remind people this has nothing to do with proper immigration. In Oklahoma we have a great Hispanic population, and they've come here legally, and they're great contributors to our society. I've got great friends. But you don't have a brain if you don't think that we should have a secure border. The amount of terrorist people on the terrorist watch list that have crossed –  we're creating this mass migration because they know they get released into the U.S. with all of our services as soon as they get there.

So that's the problem. We need to go back to the "Remain in Mexico" policy that we had before President Biden was in office.

The Biden administration reportedly has been selling off millions of dollars’ worth of border wall materials in a race against Republicans who are vying to pass legislation to finish its construction.

Steel "square structural tubes" photographed in a storage lot in Arizona were listed for sale on GovPlanet, an online auction marketplace run by publicly traded Canadian company Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, this month. Those 28-foot-tall hollow beams are "excess border wall materials that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers turned over to the DLA for disposition and are now for sale," the Department of Defense’s logistics agency first confirmed to the Daily Upside and later the New York Post.

GovPlanet, which specializes in military surplus, has sold 81 lots of those beams for about $2 million, according to the Post.

Woman threatens to "blow house up" over decor.

👀click it👀

4th of July decorations trigger a woman into threatening to blow up a man's house.

A video from Ring shows the woman get out of her black Toyota 4Runner and ring the home's doorbell on July 8.

“She started to ask me if I am Republican because of the American decorations,” Quintero said to KFOR. “I told her that it’s none of her business who I voted for. She continued questioning me about the decorations and then asked if I was a Trump fan.”

The decorations don't mention or depict former President Donald Trump at all and instead show the U.S. flag. One decoration includes an inflatable Uncle Sam riding a firecracker.

Quintero said he told the woman to get away from his house.

“I live with my mother, who is elderly, and my son, who has special needs,” said Quintero. “My family comes first, and she’s lucky I only used words in that moment.”

The video captures the woman jumping up and down and demanding that Quintero shoot her.

“She was daring me to shoot her, and at one point I asked why I would shoot her,” said Quintero. “She then says, 'I’m coming back to blow your house up.' I am like, 'Are you threatening me? You’re going to blow my house up?' She said, 'Yes, I’m coming back, so you’d better be ready.'"

Neighbors told KFOR that they supported Quintero's right to display whatever decorations he wanted.

“I would say that is terrorism, but that’s just me,” Jason Sumrall said about the woman who allegedly threatened his neighbor. “I have generations of family members who have fought in several different wars. It’s just stupid to me that someone could be offended by something so normal and casual.”

Quintero filed a report with the police but says that the incident has left him shaken.

“Imagine, every time I go to care for my lawn or go outside, I’m hoping that someone isn’t going to drive by and shoot at us or come at us because we decorate our house,” he added.

Moore police are asking for help from the public to identify the woman.

BARRICADE While Maui Residents Were Incinerated

I really didn't want to cover this Maui tragedy anymore, but with new information continuing to come out of the story, don't the people of Lahaina deserve to have their story told?

And Don't WE ALL deserve to know the TRUTH?

'I'm not wearing a mask': As mandates appear to be making a comeback, Kevin Sorbo and others are not mincing words.

👀click it👀

Actor Kevin Sorbo is not mincing words on the issue of face masks. "I'm not wearing a mask. You can stay home if you don't feel safe," Sorbo declared on X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter.

Sorbo's comments likely convey sentiments shared by many other people as mask mandates seem to be reappearing due to COVID-19 concerns.

Morris Brown College, which is located in Georgia, recently announced a mask mandate, and Lionsgate has reportedly instituted a mask mandate for certain floors of a Santa Monica, California, office.

"I'll go to jail before I wear a mask!" conservative commentator Graham Allen has posted.

"We don’t have to wait and see if they impose mask mandates again. If we say NO like we should've done in the first place, and refuse to comply, the mandates mean NOTHING. It's actually up to us, not politicians," conservative commentator Liz Wheeler posted

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis recently posted a photo of herself sporting a mask and encouraged people to wear one when required or when in a public area if they are not feeling well.

"And we're BAAAAACCCCKKKK. No, not Michael Myers but masking will be. COVID is on the rise. SO MANY friends now are really sick. BE MINDFUL. WEAR A MASK if required or even if you feel unwell and are out in public spaces," Curtis wrote

"Stay at home If you're scared but leave the rest of us the hell alone," Jordan Peterson wrote when sharing an article that covered Curtis' comments. "Enough medical fascism."

Maui fire investigation: Maui's top emergency officials were on a different island for a disaster training as flames flared and did not join response call until five hours after the deadly wildfires begun

Maui's top emergency officials were on another island when the wildfires begun, it emerged on Wednesday - and did not join a call about the response until five hours after the blazes broke out.

Dozens of senior bureaucrats were gathering on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, on August 8 for the annual meeting of FEMA coordinators in the Pacific region.

The first fire on Maui, the Upcounty Fire, broke out in the early hours of August 8.

Around 6:40am on that day, a school near Lahaina was evacuated, but an emergency response call was not held until nearly five hours later, at 11am.

The fire was declared 'contained' by 9am, CNN reported.

Yet by 3:30pm the fire had spread so significantly around Lahaina that an evacuation order was given for the town, and Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke, Hawaii's acting governor, activated Hawaii's national guard.

Officials Ask Surviving Maui Family Members for DNA Samples to Help Identify Remains.

👀Click it👀

In the wake of the devastating wildfires that swept through Maui two weeks ago, Hawaiian officials have issued a pressing call to surviving residents of the island to provide DNA samples. With approximately 1,000 individuals still unaccounted for, the urgency to gather DNA samples has intensified.

Andrew Martin, the Maui Prosecuting Attorney, expressed concern over the relatively limited response in terms of family members offering DNA samples in the aftermath of the fire. He noted that compared to the substantial reaction observed in other regions of the country following significant disasters, the participation from Maui residents has been notably lower. According to a report from the Associated Press, between 1,000 and 1,100 individuals remain on the unconfirmed list of those yet to be located, as compiled by the FBI.

Julie French, who spearheads the endeavor to identify remains on the island through DNA analysis, conveyed that only 104 families have thus far submitted DNA samples at the family assistance center. This number falls significantly short of the total count of individuals still unaccounted for. The concerted effort to gather DNA samples holds paramount importance in aiding the process of confirming the well-being and whereabouts of those affected by the catastrophic wildfires.

“What we want to do — all we want to do — is help people locate and identify their unaccounted-for loved ones,” Martin said.

Moreover, Martin underscored that any DNA samples furnished to the authorities would not be included in law enforcement databases. He emphasized that individuals who step forward with their samples would not face inquiries about their immigration status. This assurance is intended to encourage wider participation in the endeavor.

Facing challenges in compiling an accurate list of the missing individuals, Police Chief John Pelletier elaborated on the complexities his team is contending with. The task has proven formidable due to the submission of partial names and, in certain instances, the occurrence of name duplications. These intricacies have compounded the efforts to establish an accurate and comprehensive roster of those still unaccounted for in the aftermath of the wildfires.

“If you feel you’ve got a family member that’s unaccounted for, give the DNA,” Pelletier said. “Do the report. Let’s figure this out. A name with no callback doesn’t help anybody.”

Amidst this challenging situation, Maui County Mayor Richard Bissen ventured an estimate earlier this week, suggesting that the count of individuals still missing hovers around 850. However, the precise figure remains elusive and shrouded in uncertainty, exacerbating the mounting criticism directed at authorities for their perceived shortfall in providing comprehensive details regarding the extent of those yet to be located.

In the face of media inquiries, Mayor Bissen found himself under scrutiny, particularly regarding the number of missing children. Regrettably, he was unable to offer any definitive reassurance or concrete information on this aspect, further fueling concerns and uncertainty surrounding the ongoing efforts to account for those affected by the wildfires.

“You have no estimate on how many children are missing?” one reporter asked.

“This is the biggest question that the people of Lahaina have, but you don’t want to answer,” another reporter said.

Bissen then accused the reporters of “ruining” the press conference “for everybody.”

In addition to the ongoing challenges, various Hawaiian authorities are facing notable criticism regarding their response to the wildfires, which tragically claimed the lives of 115 individuals and reduced the historic town of Lahaina to ashes. Maui's Emergency Management Agency Chief, Herman Andaya, drew scrutiny for his decision not to utilize the island's emergency sirens to warn residents about the perilous fire. Andaya justified this choice by explaining that the emergency sirens typically serve as warnings for tsunamis, directing Hawaiians to higher ground, a direction incongruent with the fire's path. Following his explanation, Andaya resigned merely a day later, citing "health reasons" as the driving factor behind his departure.

Another governmental entity, the Hawaii Commission on Water Resource Management, encountered allegations of delaying a request for additional water resources to combat the fire. This purported delay was attributed to the necessity of consulting with local farmers prior to taking action. The agency's former head, previously recognized as a "water equity advocate," was subsequently reassigned to a different division in the aftermath of the fires, prompting questions regarding the agency's priorities.

Hawaiian Electric has also come under scrutiny for purportedly impeding the modernization and repairs of its electrical grid. Critics have claimed that the company redirected resources toward expanding its green energy infrastructure, potentially hindering timely improvements to the grid's resilience. In response to the concerns raised about the government agencies' collective response to the catastrophic fires, the state attorney general has announced the involvement of a third party to undertake an investigation into the matter. This step aims to provide an impartial evaluation of the actions taken by state and local government entities in addressing the aftermath of the devastating wildfires.

Studios Share Contract Details After WGA Leaders Meet with Hollywood CEOs

Representatives from the Writers Guild of America (WGA) engaged in a meeting with studio executives this week in a concerted effort to bring a resolution to the ongoing strike. However, their contentment was short-lived as the particulars of the proposed contract were unexpectedly made public.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) unveiled the details of the contract offer initially extended to the WGA on August 11. This disclosure followed a recent gathering between WGA representatives and prominent figures in the entertainment industry, including luminaries such as Disney CEO Bob Iger, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, and Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, as highlighted in a report by Variety.

Carol Lombardini, President of the AMPTP, underscored the organization's dedication to concluding the strike and expressed hope for mutual accord: "Our priority is to end the strike so that valued members of the creative community can return to what they do best and to end the hardships that so many people and businesses that service the industry are experiencing. We have come to the table with an offer that meets the priority concerns the writers have expressed. We are deeply committed to ending the strike and are hopeful that the WGA will work toward the same resolution." Lombardini's statement also encompassed the contract's specifics.

The proposed contract comprehensively tackled numerous concerns voiced by the WGA. These encompassed provisions ensuring a minimum of 10 weeks of employment for the majority of TV series writers and writer-producers, alongside an augmented compensation structure for streaming residuals.

Despite these proposed concessions, the WGA committee representatives deemed them insufficient, attributing ulterior motives to the studios' decision to disclose the contract details. While entering the meeting with constructive intentions, the committee reps expressed their dissatisfaction with the encounter, describing it as a "lecture about how good their single and only counteroffer was."

Elaborating on their perspective, the committee representatives highlighted the inadequacies of the counteroffer and its failure to adequately shield writers from the existential challenges that initially prompted the strike. Asserting the price that a strike entails, the representatives conveyed their stance that such an action is a response to all, not selective, problems stemming from the studios' actions.

Regarding the intentions of the AMPTP, the committee representatives made pointed allegations: "This was the companies’ plan from the beginning – not to bargain, but to jam us. It is their only strategy – to bet that we will turn on each other." Their response illuminated a palpable tension surrounding the negotiation process and the perceived strategies of the studios involved.

-Here is something anyone can do. I walked into our local hospital, sat down, and waited. Soon enough, a woman asked if I needed a mask. I politely said, no thank you. She then came over, with mask in hand and demanded I wear it. I said that if she could provide a scientific basis for me to cover my face when I felt perfectly fine, I would wear it. I got the usual: it's our policy. I said, I know that. She said, it's posted at the door. I said, thank you, I am literate. I again asked for a scientific basis for the mask requirement. A supervisor came out....I was very calm and relaxed- not trying to upset them. I even pointed out that everyone wearing one in the lobby had them under their noses, and that is improper use. I again stated that I required an actual REASON- not "we're just doing our jobs" or "it's policy". Nobody could give me a reason, and I could see they were becoming frustrated, so I calmly left after pointing out that "we're just following orders" was reminding me of another huge historical event. PUSH BACK!!!

-I'm STUNNED at the people who can't believe our govt. is corrupt.

-I will not comply.  I heard that they will even go so far as lockdowns.  I told my daughter about your bravery, Dr Jensen. Thank you and God bless you and your family.

-I did not comply last time nor will I again...thank you Dr Jensen for all you do and keeping us informed!

-Colleges are hemorrhaging money. SCSU has been through retrenchment more than once and let go of tenured professors. This is exactly what every college that returns to masking and online learning deserves. You behave like idiots; you go into debt…. You won’t be able to pass it off to your student body anymore. Go woke, go broke. My niece who attends college in SD had no mandates or restrictions during 2020 -2021, her college experience was not interrupted. And… she is alive and well and unvaccinated.

-Many of us KNEW this was going to be a recurring strategy. Unfortunately, we were Right.
