-Ambassador Key'lar was considered the first Human/Klingon hybrid and she also wasn't the first hybrid as during the episode where Worf learned that his father was taken prisoner along with other survivors from the Khitomer massacre and those survivors were taken to another planet by the Romulans and Worf went to that said planet to look for his father and met a female Klingon/Romulan hybrid now that was a shocker.
-The Discovery Klingons may technically be canon. But I refuse to acknowledge them. Worf was a Klingon. Those purple things are not.

-Temporal awareness refers to the fact that the Borg queen can detect changes to the timeline and have knowledge of other timelines that she remembers, the Borg queen survived first contact because in star trek enterprise some drones got revived and sent a signal to the collective which results in the future being changed where the Borg queen stayed in the delta quadrant to deal with species 8472 instead of trying to assimilate earth herself.
Admiral Janeway then infected her with a necrolytic pathogen that disrupted the Borg queen's organic and cybernetic connections freeing the collective from her control though she escaped with what few Borg drones she retained control over. she spent the latter 30 years consuming the organic parts of her drones to replenish her own organic parts plotting her revenge.
-Since each introduction of the Queen has her descending from above to be connected to her body it seems to be a thing the collective does to facilitate the connection between each other. It is likely that each Cube does have either the ability to generate a Queen or have one, but the reason we don't always see them is because the purpose is facilitating information between the larger collective with the trans warp hubs. So, there are probably 4 permanent Queens for the 4 trans warp hubs we see mentioned in Voyager.

For me the most heartbreaking line in LeGuin’s story also marks an important difference from the SNW episode: “Please let me out, I’ll be good.” Because it implies that (unlike the First Servant) the child in Omelas does not understand what is being done to them and is denied even whatever consolation might come from knowing the purpose their suffering serves. The Omelas child appears to think they are enduring a punishment because they were bad in some way, and might someday be released if they promise to be good, which the reader knows will never happen. That’s the line that punches me in the gut hardest whenever I read the story.
-Le Guin's Omelas story is the kind of thing meant for a Star Trek episode which makes episodes and societies based entirely on thought experiments all the time. Surprised there wasn't a ToS or TNG episode that does this.
-The moment they first dropped the word "Ascension" I was like "Ohhhhh, they're totally puttin' that kid in a murder machine..." 😅

Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Episode 7 "Dominion". The episode opens with an unexpected appearance from Tuvok, played by Tim Russ, who reunites with Seven, played by Jeri Ryan. The crew is on a mission to locate William Riker, who was taken into custody by the Changeling-infested Starfleet. As the crew tries to uncover the true identity of Tuvok, they discover that they are dealing with another Changeling.
Later, the crew discusses how they can stop the Changelings and save Riker. Meanwhile, Data's current Lore-shaped predicament is discussed, with Lore's cruel and snide personality clashing with Data's. Lastly, Vadic is reprimanded by the disembodied Changeling head for failing to capture Jack, and she is now prepared to do whatever it takes to bring the Changelings to victory.

Four episodes left, expect relentless pacing and plot points. "Bounty" marks end of fan service, but all expectations exceeded, so all bets are off.

Director Note:
Before watching this movie, I should point out that this movie is made from a combination of many CGI scenes with a remote collaboration between me in the south of Iran and my team in the US. Due to this limitation of a remote work everything happened on stage not based on a pre-designed film production. This was a solution and a new way for me to gain a new experience by working remotely in a large scale of film making without a script. Maybe some part of the film's gaps are due to the impossibility of controlling everything on the set remotely. I made this movie with a low budget based on using 90% of visual effects on green screen footage which was sent by my team in America.
Most the close-up, medium and the long shots are CGI created only using a GTX 560 Ti 2GB graphics card which caused many limitation in 3D rendering of 200000 CGI frame with sophisticated vfx techniques for this movie by me. What Happened to Heroes (2006-2010)?
When it premiered in 2006, Tim Kring’s Heroes was raved about and considered the next great piece of episodic genre TV. Many thought it would be the next Lost, and Hayden Panettiere became a star overnight. But, as soon as season 2 started, the show seemingly jumped the shark, and what began as a promising superhero epic became just another TV soap opera. What happened? Part of it had to do with the fact that Bryan Fuller, who consulted on Season One, left before the second season, while the second season also coincided with the WGA Writer’s Strike, which spelled the doom for many shows. While Heroes would continue for another few seasons, viewership died off, and many felt that the show never lived up to the considerable promise of the first season.
In this episode of Gone But Not Forgotten, which is written, produced and edited by David Arroyo and narrated by Jesse Shade, we dig into how this epic fantasy about ordinary people imbued with superhero abilities initially captured the public’s imagination.
While the series would eventually end with a whimper rather than a bang, it also made Zachary Quinto, who played the show’s scene-stealing villain Sylar, a star paving the way for him to play Spock in the new J.J. Abrams series of Star Trek movies.
Hayden Panettiere would become a major star, while Milo Ventimiglia would eventually land a long run on NBC’s This is Us. Masi Oka would also become a cult icon. Still, there was a bad side to the show too, with news coming out years later about how star Leonard Roberts was written out due to conflicts with co-star Ali Larter. At the same time, behind-the-scenes changes made the quality of the show decline season-to-season, ruining what should have been an excellent TV franchise.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by Wes Ball from a screenplay by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, and Patrick Aison, and produced by Joe Hartwick Jr., Jaffa, Silver, and Jason Reed.
Produced and distributed by 20th Century Studios, it is intended to be the sequel to War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) and the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot series. It stars Owen Teague in the lead role alongside Freya Allan, Peter Macon, Eka Darville, and Kevin Durand.
Development on the film began in 2019, following Disney's acquisition of Fox, with Ball attached as director.
Much of the script was written during the COVID-19 pandemic, with casting commencing in June 2022 following the script's completion.
Teague was cast in the lead role in August, with the film's title and additional casting revealed in the following months. Filming began in October in Sydney. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is scheduled to be released in the United States on May 24, 2024.

It was the middle of the pandemic and our plans for the year had gone out the window. So there we were, with unexpected extra time on our hands. Knowing that I’d been using the pandemic to focus on script writing, my friend and actor Taylor C. Wallace reached out and said: “if you wanna write a short, just for fun, I’d love to act in it.” And so the wheels started turning. The challenge was to write a compelling story that could be realized completely outdoors (covid safe), with a single actor, no budget, no crew and only 3 days to shoot (that was the time window we had for various reasons). Sometimes restrictions bring out the best in creativity.
Shortly after I'd finished the script, we reached out to cinematographer Karl Toft, who cheerfully and generously joined the project. The three of us have known each other for years but we’d never had the opportunity to work together. I can honestly say those three days of filming were the most fun I’ve had in a long time.

In Hollywood, apparently, death isn't the end! Modern cinema magic is a beautiful thing – at least a lot of the time. With recent advancements in a computer-generated imagery, studios can now put pretty much anything they can imagine in their films. Numerous filmmakers have taken full advantage of this – with varying results – bringing to life vast, vibrant worlds and fantastical creatures that previous generations never even dreamed of. Not only that, but on occasion, they've even used this tech to bring the dead back from the grave.
When an actor passes away before a project can be completed, the visual effects department is often called in to remedy this unfortunate situation. Sometimes this leaves viewers wondering why they even went through all of that effort in the first place, while on other occasions, invoking suck methods is necessary to finish things up after a significant amount of work has already been invested into a project. The end results can be a fitting homage to a late actor whose life was cut short much too soon.

-This just made me want to watch the movie again. Have to mention, I saw this in 1982 with a very lively audience. When Spock was dying, you would have thought family members were witnessing the death of a grand patriarch. If a fire broke out in the theater, you could have extinguished it with tears. People were consoling each other in the lobby. It tells you the power and charisma Leonard Nimoy's Spock conveyed to Star Trek fans. It was a beautiful thing.
-Kirk meeting Spock before heading to the bridge made perfect sense... Spock was the commanding officer. Kirk was about to take the ship (yet again) from someone else. He did his friend a solid, consulting him in private and then - being Kirk and doing Kirk things. The scene is necessary and poignant.
