But I have read in the last couple of days about comets coming close to the sun, it says that their plumes them are directed away from the sun and emit particles. The Ptolemaic pharaohs spoke Greek and ruled Egypt like Greek monarchs, not bothering to learn the native Egyptian language. They saw themselves as the successors to Alexander the Great and his empire, which included Egypt. However, Cleopatra was different. She was the first Ptolemaic ruler to learn the Egyptian language and could speak many other languages, including languages from regions that the Ptolemaic Kingdom used to control, such as Ethiopia, Syria, and Parthia. This made her unique among the Ptolemaic rulers and helped her connect with her subjects on a deeper level.
